- Quick easy fix for incorrect homing & loud belt grinding noise on a laser engraver after initial setup. Correcting invert settings should resolve the issue in most cases. This is shown on the example of Atezr P20 controlled by LightBurn software on Mac computer, but similar general approach will also work with any other brands of laser engravers.

Thank you ! Helped me !
I am having a problem with Alarm 3 Reset while in motion.GRBL cannot guarantee position. Lost steps are likely. Rehoming is recommended which I did. ON or near Line 0. Please help!
Hi, thanks for sharing your knowledge. In my case, when I press home, the machine does not even move and it only indicates alarm:9 homing fail. could not find limit switch within search distance. defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases. Any idea?
Same issue with my 35w+, been waiting a couple of weeks from their "professionals" to resolve the issue. I see that the DIY Audio Guy has posted the same error. It's looking like it is a significant issue with Atezr and their Atzer.lbdev file settings. I have found as a temporary workaround to begin in a location other than "Home". Set that as an absolute starting location in Lightburn. I am using 1.4.xx. From there you can adjust settings as per your particular equipment. I do believe it is the Limit Switch settings from the factory. I do not want to manually reconfigure any settings until the factory (if ever, not hopeful), has had a chance to correct the issue on their end however.
Hi I have the same issue for my algolaser
I am getting the same error, (alarm 9, homing fail, unable to findlimit switch) but the machine seems to be moving in the correct direction to find home, if you have any advice of what to look for ?
Sounds like limit switch unplugged or not working.
@@DIYtimeTech Ok, I was able to reach the one on the frame (I guess that is the y axis) and trigger a code when I pushed it. so that one appears to be working. I think it is the y axis. How can I locate that switch?
Every time I center it and turn it back on it automatically starts moving back to the corner and grinding. Can’t figure out why it’s getting crazy, what can I do ??
Jose, looks like the Chinese issue is a Laissez-faire issue. So much for American Capitalism versus Communistic Capitalism.
go to device settings and turn off "auto-home on start up".
