I'm surprised you didn't mention that the Forgotten Three are The Three that most players will use as their creed for a lot of the game. They match exactly to the banners that hang in the background of every Three sanctuary.
I played salt and sacrifice for 10 hours and just couldn’t get into it, so I started salt and sanctuary again. I’m on NG+ Tree of men, witch of the lake, the third lamb, kraken cyclops and queen of smiles are usually the ones I have issues with. But mostly the third lamb and witch. I may try salt and sacrifice again in a few months
Mad Alchemist isn't *difficult*, he's just entirely rng based. Sometimes he tosses axes, jumps away, and spams slimes constantly (which is a bitch if you don't pack fire or quick burst damage), and sometimes he just tosses lightning far enough away that it never reaches you or throws slimes off the map. None of it is really that bad to deal with individually, but some combos he can do are bs (just like Witch of the Lake), so it's all up to luck
I'm a bit shocked to see how little damage you deal to the bosses with that axe, does one handed weapons deal that little or is that like ng+ or something? I was using a two-handed great-sword for pretty much the entire game, no shield and heavy armor (that I discarded later on because it really makes no difference other than slow you down) and my weapon + the lightning buff charm and the lightning infusion dealt like 15% of the boss' health with each hit and stagger them like every 3 hits, which meant that it took me like 7 hits or so to take down most bosses; some of them died so quickly that I was sure there was going to be like a phase 2 or something but no. That being said, some bosses (Like the witch or the husk) killed me a lot with their combos because of the glass cannon like build I had. 25:06 This boss was cool; however, I found that his A.I was pretty bad, you can basically generate distance between you and the boss, wait for him to jump at you, dodge towards him and then punish his slow recovery once or twice, then run away from him so you can repeat the strategy. Same with the Nameless God, just bait the charge-grab attack dodge, towards him and punish, but at least the Nameless God has some other attacks that he can use at a distance so it's not 100% cheesable.
Yeah I assume 1 handed does less plus if you were using a big sword, that probably did more damage per hit. I preferred to use a weapon that attacked faster even if it did less damage. Also I think I was slightly underleveled towards the end of the game. The different ways you can approach this game is part of what makes it so great!
The difficulty WILDLY varies from one build to another except for Carsejaw...he rolls over with any build 😂. The game is bad at explaining it but all weapons have a damage type either slash or blunt or a split of both and some boss are super resistant to one or the other. For example. Final boss is incredibly weak to blunt but incredibly resistant to every thing else including elements. So if you only have a slashing wpn and nothing else, the fight will drag on. Same with the Kraekan Wyrm. If you're a dex build with mostly slash option, this early in the game he can be a major road block. You have the same thing with magic builds with the 3rd lamb taking a lot more damage if you bring any kind of arcane damage and the witch of the lake being completely powerless in front of fire and poison. I made builds of every combinations of offensive stats possible and strength didnt struggle against the same bosses as dex, magic and holy etc. Very surprised by your placement of the tree of men. Usually people compare it to the bed of chaos 😂 But I agree. It's one of the most creative boss in the game.
Most underrated game of all time.
Tree of men was my number 1 too - unforgettable

Can’t wait to see your channel rise in popularity, it deserves it

I feel the same way about Salt and Sacrifice. It doesn't give me the same sense of enjoyment as Salt and Sanctuary.

Mad alchemist is so cheesable. Just get him to the edge of the arena and just star hitting him.
10:10 " "The untouched" really should refer to you" *gets hit twice immediately*
