Thanks for the review, I just bought a new 1.0T 118 bhp GT Line dct and love it, I had a Fiesta zetec S before and found it too cramped and the ride too harsh like riding on a skateboard. I am also averaging about 44 mpg but hope it will get better after it runs in. Not everyone wants a car that is as sharp as the fiesta as living with it daily can become tiresome, so for me strikes a nice balance and also that 7 year 100k warranty means a lot especially when getting a Dct automatic as Ford have reliability issues with theirs. I felt I was in a safe pair of hands buying a Kia!
A quick update, had the Rio almost 5 months/4000 miles and I'm still pleased with it, the fuel economy now has gone up to about 48 mpg with a fair mix of town, urban and country road driving. It feels fairly quick now I can rev it more and the DCT is very smooth and slick. No rattles or squeaks either lol, I'm really struggling to say anything bad about it perhaps the start stop feature which I try to remember to turn off every time I start it up but they are on all cars now. The AC is good too and love the android auto as being a Yorkshire man I don't have to pay for map upgrades to that has to be good. All I would say is if anyone is going to get a Rio go for the 1.0 turbo it's fab and really pulls, plus sounds good and gives decent economy.
iv just bought rio 3 , good little car totally let down by loud tyre roar , even at 30/40 mph ! weird thing is its really quiet and smooth on the motorway !
Very true, but the rattle was disappointing nonetheless, especially in a new car. Thanks for watching James. Also, for what it's worth, I'm testing the Kia Soul at the moment and that has also developed a rattle... It's coming from the passenger side but I can't work out where yet. I thought it was the sun visor, but I don't think it is - I think it may be the door card. The rattle only started yesterday and I've had the car since Monday.
Cheers Maxime, what parts of the video suffered in terms of audio? If it's the outside shots, then that is down to my Rode Mic, which seems to be playing up at the moment. I really want a wireless lavalier mic, but they are too far out of my budget! :'( I used to use a wired one, but that had too many limitations.

In all seriousness though, I don't know what has been going on with the Rode Mic at the moment, it's been rather disappointing, I may need to scrap it... Thanks for the feedback though, I recognise the audio needs to be addressed, it's just finding a viable and cost effective way of doing so.
