Bihari pitha recipe is a famous dish in Bihar state. It is after the new harvest "Push" month. Thats why it is also called Push Pittha. Pittha is made with various kind of filling. In this video I am making this pitha with popular potato filling, Chana Dal filling and peanut jaggery filling.
This pittha is very famous and tasty breakfast in and bangal. Basically this is Bihari and Bengali cuisine.

Boiled Potato - 3
Oil - 2tsp
Mustard seed- 1/4 tsp
Grated ginger garlic 1tsp
Green chilli - 5-6
Turmeric - 1/4 TSP
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Maggi magic masala -1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Green peas - 2-4 tbsp
For Dal filling

Chana Dal - 100 gm
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Red chilli Powder - 1Tsp
Haldi powder - 1/2 TSP
Coriander powder- 1 TSP
Black pepper powder - 1/2tsp
Cumin seeds- 1 TSP
Crushed ginger garlic - 1tsp
For Peanut filling

Peanut - 1/2 cup
Jaggery / gud - 1/2 cup
For Dough
------------------
Rice flour - 1/2 kg
Hot water
