It is much better than having the commercials and missing the passing that always happened during them and then having to have the crew go back and replay it. I think what is annoying though is them going back and replaying the holeshot sequence during the moto, it should be done at the end, they used to do that too.
How deep the mental game is in moto is incredible. When I was racing as a first generation racer I never thought of these things it was just as fast as you can go as long as you can. James you really deserve to be in the hall of fame for these recaps alone, let alone the other countless groundbreaking contributions you've graced us with in this sport

Chase is now consistent. He’s fast, mentally mostly there. He’s all right there which puts him in good positions because in motocross people get hurt and hell always be that next guy. Not the biggest fan of him but he’s doing it good right now.

Good point - Hunter being a rookie his mindset is total opposite from Chase . In Hunters mind this is just a rookie year and he’s doing a lot better than I expected. Next year is going be complete mayhem as the Competition is already insane but now we can pretty much predict what’s going to happen especially bc Jett is out - Now im just hoping to see Eli back on the gate ASAP
All good points, but I think it is a bit of the changing of the guard. Here's why, both ET and Webb are the seniors of the class, let's face it folks. KRoc is also a daddy now and getting older. Yes riders can go on longer now, but they also have a different mentality, so we have what we have now. It will be very interesting to see if all 3 KRoc, ET and Webb get back and we have both Aussie's healthy and Chase too. Wow, now that is one stacked MX/SX field and I cannot wait!

A lot of people seem to forget that Jett and Hunter were running a very similar pace beginning of the championship. With the new Honda changes along with chase figuring out the his new bike its not hard to see that Chase could very well be putting on these same performances with Jett being here or not. None the less what matters are the 40 bikes on that gate and the #18 isn't on that gate...

That training with Jett was and is the most valuable part of being a Honda rider. You literally know the pace. The fastest guy in the sports pace. What could be a better training metric than the metric itself…..
Your implying Hunter is riding faster to keep up with Jett, then that would be wrong, Jett knows his brother backwards due to them training together for years, Jett just does enough to keep Hunter at bay, the same way he manages his races, people who are also claiming Chases is riding faster now, well he is not, he is still the same Chase, he hasn’t got the pressure of trying to beat Jett at the moment, previous races it’s always been Jett and Chase out front and 3rd 4th 5th 6th place have been 20 secs behind them, and nothing has changed its Chase outfront and the others are 20 secs back, just my opinion of course.

I think decoster is a big reason chase has changed on the track. He doesnt praise just any rider, and hes only had one racer fall short and that was alessi. I heard somewhere he was asked about sexton and he said hes the fastest but could be the best...he just needs to believe he is. Decoster likes projects, Dungey is a perfect example and hes gonna mold chase into a champ, Its what decoster does.
I think the problem Chase had with Jet was that he was almost racing himself, but Jet was willing to risk everything to keep Chase behind, and Chase was always in Jets dirt.
I get the expert opinion on whether or not Chance was washing or simply turning the front wheel. And, if he was able to correct that wash without even barely slowing down, or losing his line into the next turn, that man's reflexes are other realmly. But what smells so darn fishy is that NOT A SINGLE EXPERT ANALYST speculates of what Chance had to gain being second in points. Lcq and someone does that, all the experts say "That's the lcq for you". But down 42 points with a hope and a prayer to beat Deegan straight up and "No, holy Chance would neeeever take the perfect opportunity to take the championship down to the final rounds and cut the gap to 17". That's why I'm not buying what the experts are saying. That is definitely a smoking gun right there.
