I’ve been hunting with dogs from greyhounds, beagles, pointers, and Coonhounds all my life, those dogs you guys have are the best handling dogs I have ever seen. A lot of people don’t know how much effort goes in to getting hounds to handle like yours.
I don’t see one single dog that’s scared. I do see some guys that spend a whole lot of time working with these dogs. The fact that they can call them off of a young bear or a sow with cubs is pretty outstanding. “Dirt” hopefully I can run some “dirt” instead of crawling through our thick brush to get the dogs off a tree.
williecosgrove lol. You are absolutely clueless. I rarely get fired up in the comments but you are a moron. These dogs won’t leave game unless they’re instructed to. These “dirt” dogs tree more game and listen better than anything in your box.
Very good video! All these people who have dogs for pets will never know the pure joy of listening to hounds on a tree, they have no real understanding of the connection between a hunter and a dog. I feel that watching your hunt, loved it. Thank you for sharing the video.
That was awesome!!! Passing on that first cat would be a hard decision to make. But that what it’s all about making memories that last a lifetime. Good luck can’t wait for part 2.
That was an awesome video. It is super impressive that you folks traveled half way across the country and had success. I am glad I learned about your channel on the Bear Hunting Magazine Podcast.
Yall got to do more western hunts, if you ever get an itch to come to ND I have a farm available. We have pronghorn, mule deer, whitetail, wolf, mountain lion, among pheasant, lots of ducks. Plenty of ice for winter fishing.
What beautiful country! I would love to take my dogs out there just once on a bear hunt or even a cat hunt. What an awesome experience just to be out there! Great video as always guys.
@@TheUntamedHunt thanks, just finished watching Aaron and Gooch in GA. 2 shot muzz buck. Awesome. Love the way you guys film stuff. Usually makes me feel like I'm there with ya. Glad I'm not at 65yrs old. Packing deer out of those hills would kill me. Ohio is all I need. I just ordered a "ted" hat. Seems like a Good kid. Happy to help support your efforts!
@@TheUntamedHunt that's awesome everyone here in va talking about the are lions here in va and people talking about seeing them and we have thousands of bear hunters here and not a single group has ever treed a cat
Its my dream hunt to chase mtn lions in the snow with my own hounds lol been planning it for the last 2 yrs hopefully gona get to go this yr so any advice you can offer in ur videos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all ur great videos good luck and happy new year
Virginia Cobble and Hardscape no they were all killed out by the early 1900s. There hasn’t been a resident population of Mountain Lions in the southeast in over 100 years excluding the Florida Panther
Virginia Cobble and Hardscape no that is everybody’s favorite rumor. With all the trail cameras, people in the woods, cars on the road if there are any animals in a state they will turn up soon. There are no mountain lions in WV just something people like to talk about when they get bored.
@@beardoggin8963 Yea I've heard all of that before but people forget they are smarter than us when it comes to being hidden, i talked to a guy that was building a road in wv on the 80s he said he saw 2 mid size cats but quickly vanished
Virginia Cobble and Hardscape bobcats or large house cats. I’ve ridden with guys that screamed Mountain Lion only to see either a bobcat or a large house cat going up the hill. People love to believe that there are hidden and mysterious creatures living among us. That explains why something like 30% of people believe that Bigfoot lives among us. If there were Mountain Lions living in the Eastern US they would turn up occasionally. Just like the one that was hit in Connecticut after being released in North Dakota
I will say this as a Northern Michigan boy who guides deer in Ohio and Kills a lot of bears in the Upper Peninsula. You guys are the best I’ve seen. I’ve hound hunted with some guys that are extremely good who have been doing this for 40 years but you guys are good and will continue to learn. Heading out for cats is absolutely awesome!!!!! I have been looking at dogs so I can specifically kill bears and cats each fall!!
Warren tippett yes Trump is Bliss’ dad. He’ll be bred again soon. Not their first time actually. We bobcat hunt them and chad had taken us dogs out there before.
Congrats on your tree get then dogs dialed in up in the snow then bring them to the desert and see what you have. A true houndsman trophy is a dry land cat. I started in the snow that's preschool. Get you 4 or 5 more then come play with the big dogs. I will put you in a area that will hold a big one if you like. One pushing 200 pounds
This channel seriously needs to get more attention it is so awesome!
Not gonna lie you guys are freaking awesome from the tracking to the dogs and the expert shooting much respect
For sure a hunt of a lifetime! Can't wait for the rest of the hunt. Hell yes!

Rocking M Hounds, Troy migl thank you for the kind words.
Your dogs are amazing. They did such a great job hunting an unfamiliar animal in an unfamiliar land, and they treed one on the first try!
Always nice to see people willing to let one walk, nice work.
I guess it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to stream newly released movies online?
@Garrett Davion I would suggest Flixzone. You can find it on google =)
man that would be a hunt of life time for me
Looking forward to part 2 ! Beautiful country and love the sound of those hounds.

Do you use radio trackers anymore?
Great video.
What kind of 2 way radios are you guys using with the Garmin?
Cody Lee ICOM and those Chinese radios from amazon
Thanks, you rock 👍
Cody Lee Baofeng radios all the way. Buy a couple because they don’t hold up real well if you get them wet

Pippen Creek Productions Santa Fe
Are yall using your bear dogs for the lions or yall have a separate set of dogs for them ???
