There was nothing like going into that dark section on the old version. And the smell in there was amazing. Looks great but the old version might be better.
This is top-tier. Both Disney and Universal need to make their new lands more dense, with intertwining attractions, walkways, and decorative features. Fewer giant warehouses and more smaller attractions! 😊 Note: Disney did this at Disneyland, with the Disneyland Railroad going through Splash Mountain, but the best example is in Disneyland's Tomorrowland, where The PeopleMover, Monorail, Autopia, and Submarine Voyage are all intertwined. Sadly, the PeopleMover at Disneyland is now defunct, but the one at Walt Disney World still goes into the buildings of various other Tomorrowland attractions and crosses over guest walkways.
Was the interior scene in the “seven dwarfs mine” the part that was lost in the fire? Having that be a walkthrough AND part of the log flume AND part of the train coaster was one of the best areas in Europa Park. Very sad if that’s the case.
Most log flumes are designed with specific water management and ride mechanics to minimize the amount of water that splashes onto riders. Here are a few reasons why many log flume rides don't get you excessively wet: Water Channel Design: The flume's water channel is often designed to guide water away from the riders, using gravity and strategic angles to direct water flow. Splash Zones: Rides may include designated splash zones that are positioned away from the seating areas or strategically located to control when and how much water splashes onto riders. Ride Speed and Motion: The speed and motion of the boat can influence how much water is splashed. If the boat moves smoothly and at a controlled speed, it tends to create less turbulence, resulting in less water being splashed out. Drop Shape and Height: The shape and height of the drops influence the splash created. A more gradual drop may allow water to flow more smoothly, while steep drops may create larger splashes but are often designed to minimize this effect. Seating Design and Placement: The design of the seating and how passengers are positioned in the flume also plays a role. Some rides have higher sides on the boats or barriers that help shield passengers from large splashes. Water Levels: The water levels in the flume can be maintained at specific heights to control the amount of water that can splash onto riders. Overall, the engineering and design considerations involved in creating log flume rides aim to provide a fun experience while keeping riders dry, or at least not completely soaked, which enhances overall enjoyment.
To be honest, that looks quite boring in comparison to the previous mine with loads of details and cool music. I thought that Europa Park would rebuild this with much more love and care, as they had done with the Pirates of Batavia. But this is a bit of a nothing-burger.
This is amazing! What a beautiful park. I love how the attractions are interwoven. Lots of kinetic energy.
The intertwining of the rides plus the guest walkways/viewing areas are wonderful.

The log flume ride is looking super fun! Love the theming with the rock, coaster around... :)
Freeze at 1:30 - It's that wall incredibly close to that woman's head?!

Ooooh - so much fun!
Awesome attractions.
This all looks great, I really need to visit Europa Park at some point, it looks like an excellent park!
This looks like a great theme park. i hope I have the opportunity to visit it someday.
That looks fun
i read the title and thought "how is it a log flume and a coaster" lol
Me too
Why would it?
@@zydration3538 cus at the drop, the track turns into a coaster track
That's so cool. Alpine Express has the exact same layout as "Grottenblitz" (Heidepark, Germany). Must be a classic everywhere xD
The log flume ride is cool

Yeah the diamond mine burnt down.
Glad it has reopened. So the walk-through attraction is gone?
I can tell this vid will be 🔥🔥🔥

In the first scene of the ride the little thing on the log looks like Smurf cat
Why is there a guy wearing a VR headset on the ride? Is that a thing/option?
Yes! They offer upcharge VR experienced on this coaster. You can chose from 6 different movies and it costs 4€
Looks better than before
what do you record on?
