John Barrett's vocals have no effects on them but they still sound fine. The drummer's vocals to me sound flat. Maybe it's a one off thing. I don't know.

Ike Beelzebum If you watch the full session, you can see that Barrett uses a Micro POG. So he splits the guitar into two amps, one signal to guitar amp and one octave lower to a bass amp.

The guitar the singer is using is split into 2 amps, one of them a bass amp, and he is likely using a pedal to convert the second signal to bass as well, distorted or overdriven bass at that

Pearson Hursa it's a 60s Greco guitar. Not sure of the exact model though
