I really loved Sanford and son but the chemistry of this cast makes it one of the rare gems we love so much. Cheers did pretty good as well as The Golden Girls. Friends has to be in this conversation because they began and ended with the same cast, a great trait to have when looking for a good relationship between characters.
A friend of mine in New York kept getting calls from the Daily News trying to get him to subscribe. On about the tenth call, my friend said that he couldn't subscribe. "Why can't you subscribe?", the telemarketer asked. "I'm blind", my friend replied. He never heard from the Daily News again!
"You look like you going to swing in on a chandelier." I seen all the episodes many times and I still LMFAO. I love you Seinfeld, the greatest sitcom ever.

Seinfeld: You kept making all the stops!!!! Kramer: Well people kept ringing the bell!!!! That scene explaining how Kramer saved a pinky toe while on the bus , was soooo hilarious....😂😂😂😂.. Honestly, a compilation of Seinfeld moments would be endless.
Yeah I figured they must've showed some man's actual hands and not the woman's. Apparently the man was able to fit his arms/hands into an identical-looking woman's blouse to what the woman herself was wearing (maybe a different size), and fit a bracelet around his wrist, etc. Of course, they never showed the woman's face and the hands at the same time! ;)
They were absolutely terrifying. I like women with pretty hands and feet. I don’t have a foot fetish, but a girl with unkept feet in sandals or flip flops should be arrested.
One of the funniest bits about the Magic Lugie sketch is that Wayne Knight also played a similar role in JFK which was the movie that discussed the original Zapruder film of JFK's assassination, where they discuss the "Magic Bullet" theory.
I remember like a week after seeing the telemarketer episode (#9), I used that line on a real telemarketer... Funny part was, it turns out he was a Seinfeld fan too, and started laughing his ass off. Then I told him I was serious and hung up.
One time I got a call, as soon as the caller started her pitch I said "not interested and as I was hanging up I heard her saying"but you haven't....". The next thing she heard was the click of me hanging up.
The man hands episode! It's hilarious; just found out that James Rekart played the hands- and "I don't want to be a pirate!" I love the puffy shirt episode.
+Annie Yeah, the tidbit about Rekart providing the "man hands" (without the rest of him ever being shown), is one of many fascinating bits of "Seinfeld" minutia in this book I have called "Seinfeld Ultimate Episode Guide", by Dennis Bjorkland. Highly recommended for Seinfeld buffs.
It’s a reference to Kevin Costner’s courtroom speech from the movie JFK, it was big during 90s. The genius of this bit was when they show “Kramer and Newman”’s account of what happened, they show it in a faded color with a film spool running sound referencing the famed Zapruder’s film. It was the cell phone viral video of its day
Thomas ,but I don't know agree that was beautiful that wad just a teeny tiny bit from the overly bloated military budget for a bit then died I don't think it works anymore
There were funnier scenes later in that episode (or funnier dialogue later in that scene), where I think Elaine referred to it as "rampant, mutant BO", and Jerry blurts out stuff like "it was almost as if it had GAINED strength" and "you'd need a priest to get rid of that thing!" LOL
7:45 on is an omage to the film JFK, where Neuman actually played the man in front in the presentation of the "Magic Bullet" theory, representing the Texas Governor.
Everybody knows that was based on JFK. (I've never seen JFK, and even I know that.) At one point, Keith Hernandez asks Jerry if he wants to go see a movie, and says (ironically), "have you seen JFK?".
5:40 I love Elaine's initial reaction to Jerry wearing the puffy shirt! (Unfortunately, she then realizes he was going to wear it on the Today show to promote a benefit to clothe homeless people....)
I knew a guy that had a horrible BO problem because he had a bad kidney that didn’t filter out the toxins in his system. He was born with only one kidney. People were afraid to tell him because at the time he was a Hells Angels prospect and kind of a rough looking character. Finally he got a kidney transplant and the problem was solved.
Umm...do you even know what you're talking about or the "outburst" Im referring to? It was hardly a small deal. And despite that, I still watch Seinfeld and love this character. Its just hard not to think about that whole thing when I watch him now. If you cant understand how a black person might feel that way, then you're an idiot.
Eric McBride I understand how a black could feel insulted...but come on... he's a comedian who's life goal is to make people happy. Two black people heckle a comedian keeping him from fulfilling his life goal. They're ruining the experience for everybody else, he kept his cool for awhile. I'm not defending the things he said, I'm just saying it wasn't all his fault, nor was he the most at fault imo.
Darryl Benson Yeah I get that man. Regardless, I still love the guy, and I know he's no racist. No excuse for what he did though, as Louis CK and lots of other comedians handle hecklers on the daily without losing it like that. It's part of the job.
Yeah, the Telemarker scene is a classic. But have you notice that this is the only time you can hear the voice in the other end? Love the, Magic Lugic as well.- funny stuff :) :)
''That's not a twist off''
Haha, man hands. Hilarious.
That telemarketing call response was by far the best comeback ever ! I’m totally going to use that on every call now
I started using it, you actually get same response
Giddy up!
She opened his beer he whispers "it's not a twist off" lmfao!
I lost it at the Man Hands part! 😂
The greatest cast of characters ever assemble in a sitcom. Every one of them.
I really loved Sanford and son but the chemistry of this cast makes it one of the rare gems we love so much. Cheers did pretty good as well as The Golden Girls.
