Excellent video, thank you for this! Very interesting about the way you hold the trigger controller! I'm exactly the opposite, as I grew up with the trigger controller on AFX and Tyco, and now that I have the Carrera thumb controllers, I have to turn them sideways and use my index finger Lol!
I agree, the best controller is the one that works for you the best. I have a Slot it and a Parma 45 ohm controller. The Slot it is better feature wise, but I like how the Parma fits in my hand.
I run analog in both HO and 1/32 and use Professor Motor controllers, 35ohm. I have been looking at a couple Difalco units, DD301 and a 501, for when it's just me running on my tracks (AFX/Carrera). I have an Astron VLS-10M PS that I am going to wire in ASAP to my tracks.
I was hoping you would show how to connect to the carrera track 😊i bought a 3 wire controller amd wanted to cut my carrera controller cable and splice in my new controller but havent a clue which cable goes where ....subject of a future post 🤦🤣
Sorry Harry, I am not into wiring a track at all!!!!!! But there are a lot of pics in the Internet on how to wire it up! Focusing on the controllers themselves in this video!
@slotcardude68 I should know how to do it Nico ,being an amateur radio operator, but my brain isn't focused on this concept...ile put a help me post out for giggles and see what happens 😅

Great video, I'm still on the old guys Carrera thumb controller, I might try a Slot It universal digital controller as my first after market one.
Try it!! Now you know how to hold it😁

Thank you for the reviews, great video! Where can I buy the Car Steen controller?
e-slotcar.com has them for example
What controller do you suggest for HO drag racing?
That is very much a personal liking thing......
If possible try as many as you can to get an idea to what you like or dislike!
but I am asking for your opinion as a starting point@@slotcardude68
Where can you get the last controller, the Olli slot
It was a mistake by me, it is called a PATRIK WAGNER Regler
