Thanks so much from the USA. Your camera angles were perfect for showing exactly where all of the bolts are and how to remove them. Even though English sin't your first language you did a great job of speaking slowly and concisely to make yourself as easily understandable as possible. The subtitles also helped. This is the best video I have found on IQ break replacement, and I can't thank you enough for making it.
I am so grateful for your nice words 😉 I always try to make my videos to include the most possible details I can so that everybody can do the job at home and save their hard earned money.
Owned my iQ for a year now and it’s definitely NOT the easiest car to work on in spite of its size! (I had tremendous trouble figuring out how to change both accessory belts). Thanks so much for this video! There’s not a whole lot out there on this particular car. You’re a life savor, man! 👍🏾
Hi man your videos have been a real motivation to do the works my self so you have saved me loads of money… what size bolt did you use to brush the disc brakes off?
@@MrNiceGuy94 wow, that was a quick reply! I'm looking to get one for my dad as a town run around and keep it forever. Do you think 1L engine Auto is enough or better go for 1.33L? Thank you for taking the time and effor posting all these videos btw. You're doing the world a favour!
You are welcome 😉 I would say the 1 litre engine is enough and I am saying that as an owner of a 400hp BMW. However I would avoid the ones with auto gearbox. As far as I know they come with the CVT transmission and they tend to go wrong more often than the manuals.
@@MrNiceGuy94 Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately my dad doesn't do well with manual lol. And with it being used in town getting stuck in traffic Auto would work better for him! Any way to protect it from Rust as I would really like to keep this car as long as possible! Shame they stopped selling it here in the UK in 2014 :(

Hi, im looking to buy the iQ. How long have you had it. Has it been reliable so far?
Hi, we have it for years now... maybe 5 years. Very reliable, apart from the wear n tear parts no issues whatsoever.
