I didn't understand why the man who discovered the hidden treasure need to hide it again? If the treasure is the kingdom of God, then should it be shared and not keep for oneself?
You are getting out of the message. The point is the value of the treasure, and what we are capable to do when we pursue something of great value. Same way, we should seek the kingdom of heaven.
Considering context, we could say that both the treasure hunter and the merchant is God and the treasure and pearl is the church or His people whom He bought to the point of dying for them. He redeemed us with His precious blood. Church is not just from the NT but rather from before the foundation of the world(Eph.1:4) we were hidden in this world(field) not many know that we’re in His mind and heart before He even created anything. The preciousness of the pearl is brought about by the constant irritation in the shell that forms the pearl. Similarly the church was kept in the world in the midst of constant battle against it not to harm us but to be made pure(Jn.17) See wheat and tare explanation for context reference. We are His treasured possession(Deu.26:18) We can only do so much only after knowing that we are already in the kingdom and not to be in the kingdom. The Church is priceless and we can’t match the blood that purchased us. All we can do knowing we are in the kingdom is to be one with each other in Him in life so that the world will know that He really came or was sent here to reign.(Jn.17:21)
The Kingdom of God is the realm of the supernatural,The Kingdom of Heaven.Jesus Christ elevated us to His supernatural Kingdom to be seated with Him in the heavenly realm by His grace.(Ephesians 2,Collosians 3) Kingdom citizens manifests the supernatural on earth as it is in heaven (the Lords prayer).Religion focus on church members,the kingdom focus on citizens with our rights and priviledges.
