It’s all coming on so nicely!! Cannot wait for the amazing dive loop under the escalators to be complete and more importantly the inverted stall!! Plus, I hope at the entrance and in the queue line, we get to see some authentically cool car models.
Rewatching the unofficial animation video got me all excited for this! Gonna be awesome if it’s anything like that with those backward hang time inversions. Crazy!
Those trap doors on the roof top are smoke doors. We have those on roof tops at Dland so if a fire was to happen those doors would open to let smoke out. They might be checking the fire system if they are all open
Building a coaster in urban California....power to Universal for taking on the project. The permit/zoning and labour requirements must increase the cost of this coaster significantly.
Let's toss in every time I say "wow" or "um" too! Let's get 'em really wasted! But, on a serious note, yeah, I'm aware it's said a lot. Unfortunately, do to the music playing in the park, I gotta keep talking. And, sometimes, as I'm discovering things for the first time (and trying to figure things out), those filler words are going to happen more than in every day speech.
@AmericasCoasterNetwork lol its all good I just found it hilarious. Im sure the more comfortable you become the better it gets. I subbed because I love supporting smaller channels that feels natural not produced. Cant wait to ride this coaster...and uh....😅🤣😂
@@Lilhtotheizzo84 I appreciate the sub! I try to keep the vlogs as natural as possible. Glad you enjoy that aspect. Some days my brain is working better than others. Currently there's a lot going on personally. This vlog almost didn't happen. But I'm trying to get out there every week. Anyway, there's also some more scripted videos in the works. I make sure filler words are removed from those! 😆
Yeah I think you're right. I was thinking that when editing the video. Sometimes I realize things after the fact. Helps when looking at the video on a larger screen! 😂
My pleasure! Yeah, if this was Six Flags or another park with simpler builds, I'm sure it would be open in 2025. But there's still a ton to then after all the track is installed. There's all the sound barriers on and adjacent to the track. As well as a bunch of theming elements. Also testing the prototype ride vehicles.
@AmericasCoasterNetwork sincerely sorry for your situation. I love your content and your updates. It was merely an ill timed joke. My apologies and good luck to your situation moving forward.
Thanks man. I know you didn't mean any harm with your comment. I appreciate you watching my videos. I wish it was my full-time job and I could be at Universal even more. Along with Knott's, Six Flags Magic Mountain and other parks. Maybe some day. 😀
So I think they’re probably moving the studio tour entrance back down to the lower lot. They might just be reinforcing the hill behind the mummy or could be saving it for a future expansion. But if the studio tour entrance does get moved, I would guess that where the studio entrance currently is, they will use that newly vacated area to probably put a Harry Potter expansion there like Diagon Alley
A Harry Potter expansion would be awesome. But moving the studio tour back down to the lower lot seems like a bad move in terms of more crowds heading up and down the escalators. There would also be more ADA guests needing a special trip to the bottom.
Looks like there also taking down Halloween Horror Nights decorations I wonder if they have already taken down the mazes or that there starting to take them down
I'd be shocked if they got it open mid-2025. December, maybe. There is still a lot to do construction wise. And then there's testing of what I imagine are very complex trains.
I was told that one of the 6 themed coaster trains is going to be revealed this next Monday at IAAPA. I wonder when the coaster trains will be delivered to the site? They don't work on Sundays, and Monday was Veterans Day. Not much work got done in the last couple days. Also, the hill by mummy is getting cleared today, whatever it's going to be, it's not small. Lastly, the bottom of the steel building is getting lots of work today. I don't know what they're doing though.
Oh yeah. I saw that announcement. I can't wait to see what the trains look like and whatever other information gets released. Glad I covered the hill by Mummy when I did! I'm interested to see what it'll look like when I return. Hopefully they aren't clearing all the vegetation. It looked so nice! Ohhh... More work on that steel building. Exciting!
@@revived2036 I'm assuming one on each loading station, one on the track (maybe two), one on the break run, and one or two in the Maintenance. They need fast dispatches with how little space they have for queue. 😂
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork seems like the whole hill will be cleared, if not all of it, then at least half of it. I heard that Suki will have a pink train. Most of this info I get from Atyomamahouse, who comments on your vids and goes on streams.

I still think fast and furious is the wrong ip for this coaster. Imagine if it was sonic blue. Simpsons land turned into sonic land. And this would be the Sonic coaster. A hug de robotnic animatronic in the middle with arms trying to grab the train. So many more characters for sonic rather than fast and furious. Much more food and merchandising opportunities. Especially after the success with those movies. Tails, knuckles. Big missed opportunity in my opinion. Fast is an old franchise and kids aren’t into it.

Man...sunset on the escalators with intamin track on either side is beautiful.
Excellent report. This coaster looks like it's going to be bad ass for sure. Looking forward to riding it.
Thanks! Yeah, it sure is coming along nicely!

Your channel has some of the best coaster construction coverage I've ever seen.
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
Can’t wait for this ride
Coaster looks awesome! Also your outfit looks like Hades from Hadestown

Yes! It's extremely impressive this is happening! Seriously never expected a large-scale outdoor coaster to be built at Universal Studios Hollywood!

Yes. But pandemic slowed things a bit.

I think that's the same roll that Dom's Charger does when it hits the semi in the 1st movie.
no way this takes until 2026, we saw them build a theme park in like 4 yrs, i bet they’re gunna surprise us with a mid 2025 opening

Its one of Universals most profitable movies and California is in love with car culture. It makes sense.
