Thanks for having me on, Mike! Had a great time with this one and the video looks great.
been following you since your channel was 50k subs. incredible to see you on Brothers Green!
Love love love both your channels 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Well done Jim! Happy to see you here!
As an Italian, born, raised and still living it Italy, I must say I really liked all of the recipes. And cream in pasta is not necessarily prohibited, just needs to be used it the right way like you did!
I love your channel! I made your beef stew a second time last weekend! Wow!
I found Sip and Feast a few months back. Ironically I had never seen/heard of his origin into the YT game. Great guest to have on the show.
I was just watching his split pea soup video only moments clicking on this link. Sip and Feast is one of new go to channels for cool weather soups/stews.
I love sip and feast!
I like this dude's channel. When he talks, it feels like a big brother is teaching me how to cook! Love his channel!
Word!
As an Italian American who has lived in Italy for decades I can say that you are really good at mixing the two worlds and having a perfect balance
That is what I love about immigration. It is the melding of two worlds and it usually makes wonderful food!
It is so nice to see two of my favorite chefs in the same gorgeous kitchen!!! Love seeing both of you and I love the conversation between you. Educational and entertaining.🥰
I second that!
I love Jims honest Abe vibe, so chill and real
I follow both of you guys. How great is it to see your worlds collide.
I've been following Jim's channel for a while and it really makes me miss my grandmother's cooking.
I follow both of your channels and was pleasantly surprised to see this collaboration. I have learned a lot from both of you and really appreciate your love for the art and science of cooking. Thanks Mike and Jim!
Sip and Feast is awesome. Love the niche he's carved out for Italian-American food.
Jim is one of the most underrated UA-cam food channel.
Just wanted to say, I love Jim’s channel. It’s my favorite Italian-centric channel on UA-cam. For the very reason that he focuses on real food. Full disclaimer: I’m 100% Italian. All of my grandparents were born in Italy and were raised in either New York or the north end of Boston. I’m from Southie myself. My nona embraced the American Italian culture and she believed the diversity made food better; believe it or not, her favorite thing to make was fried chicken wings. They sat on the table right next to her tomato salad and pasta.
I always see these staunch Italian vocalists crying foul on any video where carbonara isn’t made with guanciale, or if an Alfredo is made with heavy cream. As someone who grew up with a family that literally got off the boat, I can say with authority that not all Italians are that picky. If it’s good food and it tastes amazing and brings the family and friends to the dinner table for good conversation and great memories, who gives a shit if you don’t know how to make a traditional cacio e pepe, or if you’ve added the right ingredients to your bolognese.
As an aside, my grandmother was from a poor part of Florence. She learned to cook with whatever ingredients she had available. A lot of traditional Italian dishes were born out of poverty and necessity. Even Alfredo was considered a children’s dish and made to appease kids (like Mac and cheese). It’s silly to me that we now have gatekeepers trying to maintain the traditions of poor rural farmers and fisherman who only used the ingredients they did because they couldn’t afford anything else.
I totally understand what you're saying and where you're coming from...however....I do believe it's important to know authentic recipes. Yes change it up as you want, but knowing and honoring and respecting the original is a must. But people should go about it saying it in a respectful way.
the problem of american carbonara is surely not the bacon vs guanciale, it's just that cream is not egg, prosciutto is not bacon and there is no greens in that.
And yeah italians can cry too much on food, but americans simply do not understand how boiling water works, how cream is just the excuse of somebody that is not able to cook and prosciutto is not frickin bacon or guanciale, AND ALSO WE DON'T USE THAT MUCH OF GARLIC ON EVERYTHING.
It's just very sad being called crybabies just because you still can't learn how italians cook, even if in every video there are at least 100 comments saying THE SAME THING.
@@manehbag732 There is no such thing as authentic. Immigrants are authentic. They went out and searched for a better life, brought their culture with them and made it work with what they had in their new home. The recipes didn't change because people forgot or because they're lazy, it's because it had to change. How is that real life impact not authentic?
@@1bwash there is 100% something called authentic. It's a shame you're so quick to get offended at something positive. Yes yes I know you'll say you're not offended 🙄 there is an authentic way to make certain dishes. That's a fact. There are dishes that for example were made with a certain vegetable due to location or season. If someone from another country afapts to it for themselves thats fine, but the authentic version belongs to a differentregion. Stop trying to find fault in a positive statement and turn it negative.
@@hotlinekrapfen It's not that they can't learn how Italians cook, it's that they have no interest because those aren't the recipes they're trying to make.
I love Sip and Feast and it is SO great to see you two coming together to share some dishes! Very nice!
I'm from Chicago and my brother moved to STL last year. I just want to say that I was so glad to hear dude mention STL when it comes to Italian food because before my brother moved there, I had no idea what a large and amazing Italian area they have. I think when people think Italian-American cuisine they typically think of places like NY and Chicago (though like mentioned, they're both unique), but hardly anyone thinks of STL. Nice to give them props.
Oh, my two favorite YT cooking channels combined! What a treat!
LOVE Jim from Sip & Feast -- thanks for bringing him on your channel and introducing him to your fans!
So happy for this collab - love both of you!
Two of the best "this is how I cook at home" channels brought together. As soon as I reach my diet goals, I'm making pasta fagioli.
YES! I've been using Jim's recipes for a year now. Glad to see this collab.
I've learned so much from Jim channel! I'm so happy this collaboration happened so hopefully Sip and Feast can grow even more.
Love this! I watch both of your channels, so this was a great way to see them both at once.
This was great! I really enjoy both your channels because you make cooking at home delicious and uncomplicated.
You two are my most favorite foodie channels. Love ya. God bless you both and your families.
I absolutely love Jim's channel. I literally never miss a show. These are some great dishes and definitely going on the list. Great video as usual Mike. I love these UA-camr collabs.
Love this collaboration! My two favorites!
Jim is great and i love his channel. I'm happy to see y'all together!
Mike, after years of throwing your mom's cooking under the bus, I think you need to feature her or at least some of her recipes on the channel.
lol, agreed
Agreed!
Sip and Feast is a great channel love all his different style of Pasta. I really like how he has his son try the pasta’s too
Wow, love the collaboration💞
I follow both of your channels and very happy to see two of my favourite youtube chefs collaborating. Great job. Food looks delicious
Love Jim's channel, been watching it from the start. Awesome channel and recipes!
Dude Jim is one of my favourite pastatubers. Loved watching him here too!
Good to see you guys together. Two favorites!
love this collaboration - i watch both of you guys all the time!
Two of my favorite channels mash up. Love it!❤❤❤
Love both of these channels. Excellent collaboration!!
I am a fan of both you and Sip & Feast.
In fact, yesterday I made a Lemon-Shrimp pasta with grape tomatoes based on his recipe. His show is simplicity itself, but misses nothing.
Once again simple but easy recipes with lots of flavor can’t wait to try them
As others have already said, the first and third pasta dishes are traditional Italian recipes. The second one, although not traditional, doesn't have any offending elements like cream on carbonara, so don't worry😀.
Mike your channel is really great, I love it!
He's such a good teacher on his channel, one of the very best--it's kind of fun to see him cut loose over here on your channel!
Love you both! Great video. Keep up the great work.
Great collaboration, I love Sip N Feast!
Two of my fav cooking channels doing a collab!! 💗

Yes. I love collab videos.
Love this collab!
My two favorites!!! What a treat!!! Thanks guys!😊
So nice to see these two together! Two of my favs!
Love watching Sip and Feast!
Fun fact: we do use cream in Italy! It's called Panna vegetale, it's not your traditional cream, but I can say my mum made me a very quick pasta with some panna and parmigiano several times!
All the dishes look good!
When I spent some time in Italy, I saw people using ricotta mixed with water in traditional recipes too, which is basically a cream replacement
Italy is a dairy country, of course Italians use cream in food. Just not in dishes others use cream in like e.g. carbonara, that is a classic mistake. As an American he cannot speak for Italy, but of course he does. 😄
Panna vegetale is what would be called "filled cream" in the US (it's basically cream cut with vegetable oil). I have no idea why one would choose to use it when the real thing exists.
@@TheNinnyfee an Italian cannot speak for Italy, one persons words representing a population of 59 Million is silly 😄
Love this collab. Jim's channel is great
What!! I love that you did this! He’s my fav
That garden is incredible.
Love this collab! My two favourite food channels on UA-cam ❤

Love the crossover of my two favorite cooking channels. Great collab gentlemen!
You should do a pizza show with Jim. His videos on pizza are the most informative. Things like how to season a pizza steel or what type of cheese or tomatoes to use. He is an expert on the different N.Y. style pizzas.
Wow, what a great video! Love Sip and Feast!
Love Sip and Feast segments!!
My two favorite … thank you guys.
Yay! Two of my favorite cooking channels!
This video was a real treat with the two of you!
Jim I am a huge fan and by that I mean I frequently make meals from your recipes. thank you both for this session.

The collaboration I never knew I needed 😄 this is like when the Avengers Assemble but the food YT version 😅 just need Joshua Weismann now
Dad cooks assemble with Brad Leone or Adam Ragusea. That'd be fun. 🤠🤓
That was fun! Looked delicious. You two are an entertaining pair in the kitchen. My son gets out of the USAF in February and the thing he can not wait to do the most is cook with me. He loves my cooking. I think we will pick one of these to do with some fresh home made bread. Thank you for the ideas! Now I am off to make some pizza dough for home made pizzas when my better half gets home from work. God Bless you both.
Great to see Jim here. His Tuscan beef & pepper stew has become my go to dish and luckily my partners favourite beef stew. 😊😊
Good collaboration. Love your channel and Jim's, making me hungry despite just finishing dinner.
I found his yt several months ago and he has become one of my FAVORITES! I have made several of his dishes and love them!
Two of my favourite cooks. That bean pasta is going into the rotation
Great team collaboration....more
Fabulous, my two favorite creators together in one kitchen. I love everything you guys publish. Thank you for sharing your love of food and making it easy for us. Any time I watch either of you, I feel like I'm sitting on a barstool in your kitchen, having a conversation with you.

Your explanation is interesting and easy to understand. I learned a lot. I really want to try it later. Thank you.
Loved it! Thanks so much
What a pleasure to see these two great pro home chefs cooking side by side. I live on the south shore of LI, wish I could have stopped by.
Oh hell yes, Jim is the man. Good stuff!
Two of the best UA-cam chefs on the same show is a great idea. Please do this again. Great job!
I just subscribed after watching your food processor video. Looking forward to binge watch the rest of them!
Great video! Some delicious dishes and really economical as well!
I am new to both these channels: love the recipes, the techniques ... so much fun to see you 2 together also.

LOVE Sip and Feast site!
The collab I didn't even know I wanted, but you gave it to me anyway.
Good stuff guys!!!
Hey @Sip and Feast -- I've seen a few of your videos before, but after watching this collab I finally subbed to your channel. Cheers!
This is the greatest video! As a born and raised Man from Long Island, that now lives in Florida, this is really excellent because the Italian food sucks down here. Thank you for this!
YES! I love Jim. Such a great video choice!
I love Sip and Feast!
Saving this video to make this next week!
Love both your channels!
Aww two of my favorite UA-cam cooks in the same show! That all looked great!
Great collab!!
Great recipes!!!
When I saw on the preview two my favourite UA-cam guys I thought I got crazy haha! 😄 Great collab!
You and your guests are such a fun hoot!
Yaaasss, the cross-over we all needed!
I would love to see a collab between both of you and Brian, love watching all your videos
This is so random, I just discovered his channel a week ago and have been watching a lot of his videos. He has good recipes but his b-roll chopping veg is a bit excessive lol. I highly recommend his baked pasta dish with penne and italian sausage, wow. The way he has his kid as his taste tester and rating system is adorable.
Wish I was the taste tester! WOW everything looks delicious 😋
