Fireworks for Gold in Second Half 2024

If Gold and Silver continue to hold $2290 and $29, then there is a good chance of fireworks in the second half of 2024. If the economy weakens, leading to Fed easing, capital would flow into Gold ETFs and Gold would break resistance against the 60/40 portfolio.

Everything seems to be lining up: zero interest in gold, even less in miners, ETF outflows, bitcoin crashing. Just need the stockmarket to crack which in these days is basically just NVIDIA.

I believe the whole cryptocurrency/blockchain is to redirect funds away from gold investment and this helps USD strength.
In 50 years will the USD even be in existence?
I’m guessing only physical precious metals and CBDC’s will be used, not cash.
Even credit is questionable-unless you owe the Govt via highly taxed - programmable CBDC’s.
Who knows.
Thank God I won’t be around-hopefully not anyway.

Very exciting 6 months ahead, I have spent the last 6 months fine tuning my big bag of explorers, juniors & midcaps.

According to my technical analysis gold is ready to break higher now. All it needs is a weak jobs number on friday. Strong numbers and it likely goes the other way.

The pop higher in gold today could be a bull trap. The price is going through the higher bolliger band in daily. Generally that leads to a pullback to the lower bolliger band weeks later. In weekly charts, the price need more time to breathe. Same for the Gold Miners Bullish Percent Index : would be nice to see it fall back to 50. Final low maybe August-early September… keep some dry powder!
