For one playing on his injured hip for a series isn't what ruined Thomas career it was the fact he played on a bad hip joint for over 3 years before finally getting surgery smh can't blame the Celtics for his own ignorance of not getting surgery until your hip needs a full resurfacing surgery like he need as the surgeon who did his surgery in 2020 said his rip joint was "pitted like asphalt" and couldn't believe Thomas could even walk let alone play with his hip joint being that bad smh you can't tell me nobody told him he didn't need surgery for over 3 years smh and if Cavs, Nuggets and Wizards didn't tell him and he went all that time believing team doctors without getting another opinion from a doctor outside of any of those teams and being in major pain for 3 years then IT is an complete moron and might have other issues he needs to worry bout like getting getting his brain checked out smh no if IT blames the Celtics for his hip it's cause he doesn't wanna accept responsibility for his own ignorance smh

Dumb video considering the title smh when you make an title like this you better have some explanation of how the Celtics ruined his career smh for one Boston didn't ruin Thomas career only Thomas ruined his career as he never wanted to get surgery on his hip and ultimately didn't get surgery on his hip until 2020 over 3 years after playing in Boston smh the surgeon who did his hip surgery said Thomas hip had no cartridge and he needed his whole joint resurfaced and stated his right hip was "pitted like asphalt" smh if he would've got surgery after the season he would've been fine but he was to worried bout the short term getting that brings truck smh it wasn't the series that ruined his career it was him not undergoing surgery for over 3 years and playing on no cartilage smh can't tell me no one told him that his cartilage was deteriorating smh can't blame the Celtics unless you wanna blame the Cavs, Nuggets and Wizards as well as he didn't get surgery while playing for all 3 of those teams smh it wasn't playing for a series that ruined his hip and career it was playing on a shot hip joint for 3 years that ruined his career smh again like I said Thomas was so worried bout that Brinks truck and chasing the money that he didn't get the surgery after the season then he lost his chance at that brinks truck and was just trying to survive in the nba afraid getting surgery he'd be forgotten about so he was constantly rushing to try to get back on the court to prove himself smh

Crazy how Isaiah Thomas timeline of playing against jimmy butlers bulls in the playoffs after being down 0-2 is in the same universe. You want jimmy Butler to win, but then you don’t wanna count out Isaiah creating a whole what if Rondo didn’t get injured

People or some fans really lose perspective when a player takes "abnormal" actions to decide what they do with their careers that seems to go against what prior players in the spotlight have done. Everyone is different. Some people can run 50 miles a week and stay healthy, others can only run 10 miles, and some people can't run healthy at all. Even though they're all elite athletes, there are still differences too. If a player wants to decide where to go, how to load manage physically, or how to take care of business for their mental health -- they're all human. They should be afforded the space and we should stop pretending that they owe the fans unfettered access to their private live and inject our ignorant judgement to their decision making, especially when it comes to loyalty to a franchise.
Right now, I think that needs to apply to Ben Simmons. People are analyzing things that are so obvious, and Ben is still doing what he's doing. He/His agent know enough to know what they're going for. If you operate with a bit of "they know what they're doing" you may begin to see why their actions make some logical sense for what it is they want. And they are entitled to "want." Being in the NBA isn't full license to say "one can only go where the league says they can go."

Why won’t the players file grievances against teams for withholding information about their health? This same thing happened with Grant Hill when the Pistons flat out lied about the severity of his ankle injury because they wanted to make the playoffs. That ended up derailing his career because he was never the same after that.
