How are you doing a wheelie without clutching up??? I have a 21' z900 and it's tough to do that
I just cut the throttle a littlebit and then pull the bars at the same time as i re-apply throttle. All in a really fast sequence.
Sometimes i just pull the bars while going and it goes up, i assume its easier on the 1k?
I also lean back a bit with my body

What year model is your z1? 2016? Because I heard about the 4th gear issue when installing a quickshifter on 2015 model
Its a 2015 model, i have it in a shop right now to get it fixed 😅

@@NobodyMoto aah yes the classic 4th gear , i had no idea about that issue until it happened to mine as well. at least you got the winter to sort it out lol , as it can be a pain in the ass.

Seems to be way to common of a problem, its not exactly easy or cheap to fix either 😅

What year is your bike? I think Kawasaki doesn't produce this bike these days?
2015, i think the latest models are 2020 or 2021. Not sure they made one for 2022?
Is not better if you use rev match to downshifting? Or you dont use it?
It is better but 4th gear is bad so it messes up the flow when riding having to skip it every time going up from 3rd to 5th or back down you know :(
Getting it fixed right now tho so will be all good next year. Also im just lazy sometimes not doing it :)

No its not, most roads in this video max allowed speed is 70km/h. And when on the highway its 110km/h max, some places 120km/h :)

Not from factory but akrapovic makes single sided exhausts for it if you want, however you need to buy the full system.
Im sure other companies do offer this aswell

Most people i have seen with this issue seem to have the 2015 model aswell. Im not sure if any other years has it 😅

A buddy of mine lost his 4th gear after installing a quickshifter that's how we learned about the issue after some research with different forums this is a common issue if you have a quickshifter if you don't have a quick shifter you have nothing to worry about.. You may like to visit Robert Wright and Z1KSBOY channel they also lost their 4th gear after installing a QS

What’s the best mods for a gen1 z1000
Honestly i dont really know since ive never ridden one, but id say atleast getting barend mirrors and slipon exhaust maybe a gearindicator if possible :)
Varför börja den wobbla ? Ser du har styrdämpare också.
Vart nog att jag växla från 5an till 6an samtidigt som jag körde över mitten typ, ingen aning annars haha
Styrdämparen hjälper till med förhindra att wobbles blir värre, den reagerar inte på smårörelser så mycket men om de blir värre än detta så börjar den ta emot.
Skulle nog kunna ställa in den bättre med 😂😅

currently i drive an sv650n but next year i will buy a z1000 or mt09 why did you choose the z1000 and which year of construction is yours and what have you changed?
I chose the z1000 since i had a er6n before and i was really happy with that, also i think is a really good looking bike. Its a 2015 model, i bought it used and the previous owner had done alot of performancemods to it.

Powercommander.
Cordona quickshifter.
K&N airfilter.
He also changed alot of the cosmetics, you can see some pictures on my instagram.
I added a steeringdampener and gear indication, thinking about doing launchcontrol aswell 👀

Whic Is Better overall? Z100 or MT09
Its hard to say that one is better than the other, it depends on what you are looking for 😁
The z1k is a more powerful, and heavier feeling more firm on the ground.
The 09 is lighter with alot more advanced electronics, different powernodes, tractioncontrol and so on.
When i was choosing between mt09 or z1000 it was basically the look of the bike + brand loyalty since i had a kawi before aswell 😁
I think you should compare the mt09 to the z900. Z1000 is more like mt10. All in all i think the Z models are better for highspeed runs and the mt's more for playing around and wheelies. On the mt's you dont lay on the bike like with supersports but sit more upright

Its a steeringdampener to prevent tankslappers. (When the steering starts to wobble uncontrollably)
This can happen if you dont put the front wheel back down straight for an example.

The install was pretty easy, as long you have access to a torque wrench or know someone that does you will have no problems 😁
Also if you want it to look clean you have to modify your ignition lock cover. I did this and im super happy with the results.
You dont need to do it but it will look odd otherwhise 😜

You just stick it on the dash where you like it, then you run the wire to under your seat where the diagnostics port are and just connect it to that. Its plug and play basically 😁

whats your audio set up? exhaust sounds mint!!
I tried putting a zoom h1n under my seat but the exhaust is to loud for it.
So im actually using audio from the gopro 4 thats looking backwards, its placed behind one of the exhausts and kinda covered from the wind aswell 😁
If you have a bike that does not exeed 120db you can try using the h1n, alot of bike chanels use that one 😁
My bike goes to like 145db at full throttle so its a tad to loud for it to handle 🥲
