Switched to powerstop rotors and pads on the front of my '14 GMC Sierra after warping most cheap rotors from auto part stores. Best change I have ever made on that truck! Have had them on for 3 or 4 years and thosands of miles compared to a set lasting 6 to 8 months before.
Tires bring a vehicle to a stop, not brakes. Yes, bigger/better brakes may offer more consistent feel and are less prone to fade. But unless you regularly experience brake fade, there’s really no point in upgrading assuming your brakes are capable of locking up your tires. A better test would be timing how long it takes to reach full lock up or how much force is required to initiate a lock up.
Do you have aftermarket brakes on your truck??

10ft is NOT worth it or the work.
It's definitely something to consider when the time comes to replace old and worn out brakes though, in my opinion! -Zach
Same tires, no change there.
But I was wondering how old or mileage on the brakes you originally had on your truck before replacing
10 ft is a mile if it's stopping to avoid running over a child that wonders into the rd or any number of a million things that 10 ft could help with.
