I owned the Gameboy version when I was a kid. Never got far in it, and it always felt like a weird fever dream. Didn't know there was an arcade version until I googled it recently, and daaayum it's so much better in every way!
@@robbyrobot3303 Mega Man had Dr. X 11 times,so why not?We know these stories even in cartoons,1 villain trying to corrupt almost a whole creature/people population is a great way to reduce the lore building, like a fight between Elon Musk and George Soros, one will recruit different guys to go over the same target(antagonist) who will never die,and once the antagonist lose, the creatures will be happy(like the picture in the end which each creature is happy with the boys)
@@lucasnassar2778 yea, I'm not complaining. I think it's cool data east had this common element that tied their games together. It's a shame their single screen platformers never got home ports. They are all high quality. Even Funky Jet which they just published that was developed by Mitchell

Hats off to Data East for making a arcade game where it was *possible* to complete the game on a single credit… (albeit extremely hard 🥹)
