Thanks for the real world walk through Nick! Our GF 25 will be delivered later this month. Do you guys have any future plans for the boat, ie radar, auto pilot etc? The trolling motor is such a game changer. That will likely be my first addition (maybe next season). Can't wait for your future GF vids!
You are going to love it! It'll be nice to hear how you like it up in your area ! They're super popular down where I am. So far I think the future plans would be to add another Garmin screen to have the dual unit setup, we used to have radar on the previous boat we fished but honestly never really used it that much. We have Sirius XM Weather and use that for the weather and it seems to work really well! I would say the first thing would definitely be the trolling motor, it's by far the best thing there is, that'll probably be my next video showcasing the Rhodan on it as it's been really awesome!!!
What is the gross weight of the boat fully stocked with fuel and materials and trailer ? I’m curious if a truck that has max towing at 7500 is enough ??
My numbers aren't exact but with just gas and the boat you're going to be at 5800lbs, not taking into account the trailer, fishing gear, your person's etc. I wouldn't suggest towing it with a max towing of 7500, too much potential risk in my opinion. We pull it with a Ram2500 that has a Cummins and it pulls no problem however.
I don't believe they are. The one thing about this boat is the storage is very limited. I think our dealer marketed the front boxes as fish boxes but it's not very practical to use them as such. We use the box in the middle transom as our fish box and it's worked pretty well.
Top speed loaded down for fishing and full tank of gas is right around 48. As far as props go I'm not 100% sure it's whatever Sea Hunt has on from the factory.
Surprisingly well for a 25 footer. We've been a good 30 miles offshore in 2-3 footers, definitely don't like going out anymore than 2-3 though, mainly because if it's worse than that it's windy and no matter what you're getting wet lol. Used boats right now are ridiculous, either super overpriced or just really hard to snag before someone else
@@NickeeGee Tell me about it. There are plenty of cats in central and south Florida but I work for the DoD and I'm under a 150 mile travel restriction. And I'm not dropping $80K on a boat I haven't seen, let alone driven.
Back in 2020 I think it was around 120k. You can comfortably fish 4, but can definitely get up to 6 in it, if you're looking for straight fishing though, and can afford it I think the 27 with the coffin box is better. I wish the 25 offered the coffin box option instead of the forward seating.
@@joseramos7476 for sure. Gets up on plane easy. Cruises at about 30 and tops out in the upper 40's. Sea Hunts are by no means fast but they get the job done comfortably and safely.
Hey Nick, Great boat. I just ordered a 255 out of St. Pete...what's your thoughts on dual Garmins. Do you think it's worth the extra $ or is it a non-issue...
Thank you! If you're going to be fishing at all, I'd highly recommend getting the dual screens. That's one feature we wish we had right now as the extra screen definitely helps to see bottom a little clearer especially if you've got navigation up at the same time.
The box in the back is pretty dang deep. Probably about waist deep. It is rather short though so longer fish like Kingfish or Cobia may be hard to fit.
Prices today are a lot different than 2019 when we got it but it was around 123k optioned out the way it is. Not including taxes and title work etc. If you're in the market for one I'd highly recommend going to a boat show and seeing what kind of prices they have there. Sometimes they have really good deals.
@@nelsonvaldes2402 Um I think joystick requires electronic steering which is normally an additional cost. I'd check either your local dealer or Yamaha dealer to confirm!
I found watching the video in 1.5 speed is quite helpful! Haha, thanks everyone for watching!
Super cool that the rear seat lifts out like that - wasn't expecting that! Great video!
Thank you! I think it's a great little feature as well!!!
Nice boat Nick!
Haha thanks Captain Peters! Sorry I threw your shrimp away 🦐

Great boat. I have 2020 25 Ultra Se. No issues 2 years in.
For the price they really can't be beat and for a 25 foot boat we've been in some NASTY stuff and felt very safe and secure
We live in Maryland had the boat 30 miles off shore in the ocean sea bass and flounder fishing seas 3-4 boat is dry and comfortable.
@@christophermatthews8956 that's awesome! Another one of my subscribers lives up in new Jersey and he says the same!

Are the bow storage compartments insulated to be used as fish boxes as well?

Is the black railing on the T-Top structure hot to the touch?
Not at all! I’ve never had any issues with it living in Florida

Very nice boat
Thanks Darrell! Hope we can meet up one day and slay some fish together!!!!

Does it have dual fill valves for the fuel tank?

no box to handle larger fish ? or is that box deeper than it looks
