$95 AF, $60 opportunity cost spending 6K on the card. I'd rather spend $6K on Alaska and fly to Orlando on a companion pass.
We're getting a horror themed Universal space in Las Vegas, and I'll probably go to it annually, but I'll still skip the card.
I applied for the no annual fee version just for the 10% discount in the parks on food/merchandise. Other than that, the card looks lousy compared to others I have.
I live in Florida and I love Disney and Universal. My take on this is the same as the Disney card. The no annual fee Disney card might be worth it for the promotional offers you get and the 10% discount at Disney gift shops and select restaurants. It's garbage for everyday spending, so it should only be used at Disney and for promotional offers like the 35% discount I had at a Disney hotel. I actually have the Disney debit card which was free with my Chase checking account with no hard pull, so I don't need the credit card. If the Universal card gets you useful offers and a 10% discount at Universal then it might be worth it for no annual fee especially if their offers are as good as Disney. The annual fee card wouldn't be worth the extras for me. I'll get the annual pass for about $325 because that's a better deal than the two park ticket.

If you have to spend $6k just for a free ticket, might as well spring for an annual pass at that point

Have you seen the new American Express Embark Card? 15 months intrest free for balance transfers and no annual fee. I applied with a 704 and got a $10,000 limit with a 19.99% interest rate after the promotion end.
I go to universal 3x a year. I’m going to apply for this! I hate using my Disney one. I don’t even go to Disney. 😂
I do go to Universal like my other friends do Disney, and this is a little disappointing.
Do you have to spend the $6000 at Universal Studios parks to get the theme park ticket bonus?
IMHO , I have to say that both credit cards are not worth it since it is very similar to a store credit card. The free single day pass for $6,000 minimum spend is a joke. Most banks are rewarding at least $500.00 for that level of spending. FNBO is not a major player and it shows.
It's almost like they don't know other credit cards exist. lol
There is a HUGE community who go to Universal as much as Disney. I know a couple who come over from the UK four times a year.
Not a fanatic of spending in the first month.

I agree.Those are terrible.
I hate to be that person but neither card is justifiable because my Citi custom cash gives 5% cash back on entertainment which includes amusement parks (it codes as live entertainment) and there’s no annual fee with the card (this is my dedicated card for all Universal Studios purchases). If there were more perks with Universal’s card like free parking or half off express passes then I would get it but until then I’ll pass on this card.
Lol Horrible. Just get a Paypal Cash back card or a Citi double cash card. I would even take the Wells Fargo 2% card (although it's worse with a minimum point limit for redemptions) over this hot garbage.
