As a former Soldier, that was a very tough thing you had to deal with with no type of support. Of course, the Army will react and provide you with what you need after the facts. But going through Basic and dealing with what you went through, is mental toughness. You are confident, emotionally controlled, and very resilient. Listen, you are not weak! You are the type of people the US Army needs. The weak will tell what they cannot do themselves. Your personal decisions need no explanation. You will make a fine Soldier someday. Here is my encouragement to you. Keep God in your plan. Stick to your plan. Take time to heal and keep at it. Aua e ke amagaia fua kala ole au vale! This made me cry along with my husband! Rona shouldn’t have to explain herself especially with something so personal, & she blacked it out for a reason! Mate, the person who wrote the comment is one of those loko bad Samoans who’s the biggest kaea muli of all🙄🙄. PMO! Not just kaea muli, but ULU KAEA as well…..because they took time out of their day to be negative, without considering Rona’s feelings, as well as her parents who are experiencing the loss of their grandchild as well. How sad that this young woman felt she had to explain to us nosey buggers about a very personal trauma, because of negative comments. Thank you for sharing with us. Although you're not indebted to any of your viewers to do so, I hope that it helps you with your healing. You are surrounded by a loving family and supportive people who genuinely care for you and would rather you heal phsyically and mentally. Rona sending love and healing prayers, Rona this made me cry and my 22 year old son said that is so sad and he said you are strong beautiful and you will heal in time. You will go back to military wen your ready. We watch the videos together and my son said mum,Rona has the village behind her with love and support, as a islander you know the saying it takes a village to raise a child, so your village is all your supports on the channel we are your village, here to support you through this hard time, and love and prayers hugs and comforting words, my son said he just wants to give you a huge hug and say you got this sis and we are all here supporting you. There’s a Samoan saying “‘Aua e te popole i le pola e motu i tua” - this is just so typical of our people - not ALL of our people but just some that will always be quick to say and judge and pull our own down rather than lift us up or pray for us when we go through these storms of life. You owe no one any explanation, you didn’t have to share any of your personal information because you are right - that was a very intimate and personal issue for you and your husband. Aloha, I have sisters of my own, and I have always respected them growing up. I understand that boys and girls under God’s law are created physically different. I respect your choice to come back. I think that’s a very brave choice to come back home and do a necessary recovery I hope and pray that you have a speedy recovery and that you may, continue on your goals in your dreams back in the US military. I want you to disregard any negative comments that are coming your way. Your mental health is way more important than any other negative comments about your choice.
