I think this is the key to wearing stripes…or anything you love (I love stipes-vertical, horizontal any stripe) if the item looks good on you wear it. You obviously do all the things you need to do to create a polished look. I think shape wear is the BIG key to looking good & getting the right size and if you need to alter it getting alterations. Every year I always make sure my horizontal stripe dress is looking good and if not I replace it. This one you showed looks beautiful on and I especially love the neckline. I’m busty and an open neckline is far more flattering on me & the extra sweater is a big plus. 💙🤍 I also think it’s really good all year round depending on where you live. (I live in Hades ❤️🔥🌵) but it could be a nice option for me. Thank you 😊 your videos are super helpful.
These denim looking draw string dress is to cute. Many styling options here😁 the patchwork is cute for spring. The gingham green would work with some booties and the denim puff sleeve jacket and add a belt. The blue and white looks fabulous on you💙🤍💙 cute bags , for spring. The black skirt is cute. I agree with you with the shoulder pads and it needs pockets. The sweatshirt dress looks cozy and it has pockets. 💛😊💛

Love the nautical stripe navy dress. The ombre dress... Just sew the pockets shut and then cut them out... Eliminating that issue. The size you have is right in every other way. Love the woven shell bag too. Precious.

I’ve been doing this for years now bc I feel like if I wear “coverup sized” clothes I look larger and more unattractive bc you my proportions are lost. Hi Jen, I love wearing horizontal stripes, just stripes on the thinner side. Old Navy and Gap are good for t-shirts and skirts in thinner stripes. Oh, what the heck, wear what you feel good in, not what everyone says you should feel good in.

I loved all of them including the gingham maybe just not on you. My favorites were the black and blue tie waist. I loved that you showed the side by side by tying and untying. What a difference it makes cinching in the waist! I love the purse that's "buttery soft." I'm must ask, PLEASE tell us when items are soft more often! I live for soft anything and that's the only suggestion I've ever had for you after all this time! 😘 I spotted that black and white checkered Van's sling at the end to go with our checkered combat boots and belt! The only thing I'm still deciding on is if it's a little trippy to look at - meaning the checkers aren't perfect and maybe giving off "fun house" vibes - do you see what I mean? If it didn't have that, it would be an "immediate add to cart" for me (as I say) but instead I'm still pondering...hmm.....!

Another great video! I loved the Acid Wash Denim Utility Dress. I think if you got the Optic Ice Free Assembly Women's Sleeveless Fit and Flare Dress instead of the green gingham, you would totally rock it (although you looked gorgeous in that green). I'm really looking forward to your take on the Patchwork Denim skirt as well. I think in the try on, it looked great already with just the plain off white tee but I can't wait to see your styling with it!
❤️❤️❤️always so much fun! I loved the gray shoulder pad dress. I can see it with nice sandals and fun jewelry for a lunch date or paring in with white vans or sneakers for a cool casual vibe. I have purchased a couple of the hoodie dresses and I have the same issue with the pockets!!! They should have been more kangaroo pouch style. Would detract from the hips and add some interest to the front of the dress!

WOW!! Great haul!! I have been following you for awhile and luv how you describe everything and I agree about the dress you show at #12. I hate pockets on the side. I am already big from the waist down. I was born with saddlebags!! OUCH for my poor mom!! LOL!! Can you imagine wearing pampers and having saddlebags?? But seriously I don't know why the designers don"t think of this when they are designing. Put the pockets at a slant toward the front not on the sides. But any hoo just wanted you to know we all luv your honesty and pep. Be blessed.

I have jean dress really similar to this first dress, and I have gotten so much use out of it. I've worn it a ton of ways over the years. I like the gingham dress, but I wish it didn't have the slits on the sides. That sweater dress and cardigan are perfection on you! I hate when they put pockets in dresses. They are so unnecessary, and just add bulk in the worst place. Too bad you had to glue the seashell purse back together, but it is cute! ❤

I think if the fit is good- horizontal stripes are fine. I am curvy and midsize too- the horizontal stripes emphasizes our hourglass figure.

I was terrified of form fitting and hid under huge tops. When I had to tuck clothes my size for work I would cry and blouse over tops so boxy I looked bigger. I found hauls with ladies my size tucked in and thought, They look cute! I can look like that?! It changed my life and now everything I wear is tucked in or belted or cinched at the waist
