Pippen had been doing relatively fine until the famous documentary was released. All the fuss and comments regarding his legacy, relationships and personality started to open up right after "The Last Dance" and his takes on what had been shown in the doc. No matter what people think about him these days, to me he's still a legendary Chicago Bulls' player who had played a major role in winning those championships, as well as an outstanding defensive player. A defensive menace.
    Great video, keep it up.

    • @RM-xk6iu
      @RM-xk6iu 5 місяців тому

He is and always will be my favorite player. There is a video on youtube called "Jordan and PIppen two men´s game": That´s what Jordan and Pippen did: They played the best and most spectacular basketball that has ever been played. No one comes close as they elevated it almost to a form of art. Jordan for sure knows it (and he knows that he couldnt have reached such levels without Pippen, a unique player in his own right). But until the last dance Pippen seemed quite content to be in the back, as he always did.
So i can only imagine how he felt when he was lambasted on a global scale for petty contract situations and a shot he didnt take, or better said, he didnt take it because Jackson took away from him (something for which he apologized to the entire team). By the way, Jordan was playing baseball when that happened. That he was going through difficult personal issues didnt help either.
So, It is one thing to not asking for praise, and another one to try to defend yourself after being disrespected the way they did on the last dance. It trully was foul play either on Jordan´s part (which i find strange because if there ever was anyone that praised Pippen, it was Jordan), or his production team.

Scottie Pippen is forever a HOF legend. 33# forever retired in Bulls history. & NBA championships + 2 Olympic gold medals and various All-STar and defence team accolades.
Pippen is just hurt. I fully can understand the saddness after losing 2 children in his life, having carried his family financially and arguably been underpaid and under valued
    by the Bulls GM.
But it doesn't justify him attacking people who don't deserve to be attacked. I is not okay to call Phil Jackson a racist and trashing him or repeatedly attacking Michael Jordan, a player who ownes some to him - but ownes so much more back to Jordan!
Jordan helped him reacdh his best potentials as a player and helped him get toughen up to be a better competive man as well. Jordan shielded him for years from greater team responsibilities and always gave hiom his credit for all great gameplay. Jordan also always held his back.

Everyone even his own agent told him not to sign that contract but he insisted even after they told him well if u do sign it we will not renegotiate. Therefore being underpaid is his own fault, nobody else's. Then he wants to bad mouth everyone...seems like he needs to grow up and take responsibility for HIS OWN choices.

Aside from their chaotic nature and dysfunction, these women are very short, which messed up their sons' height. Naturally, Scottie's sons should be over 6'7 minimum but barely 6'1. Will Smith who is 6'2, his son is barely 5'7, like WTF? Men, breed selectively!

The pressure on him during Jordan's absence was simply too much for him to handle
over an extended period and the family issues that no doubt affected him no doubt
had a lot to do with his falling short in these key turning points in that season when
    Michael was not there!

Scottie might have been skilled but didn't have the temperament of a leader or winner. maybe he might have made it to a playoff final or even an NBA final without Jordan but i don't think he would have ever won a chip playing with any other stars or even with him being the star player on an nba team. his skills arent under question to me. its his attitude and temperament.

I watched every single game with Pippin and Jordan. Pippin played his part. Yes Jordan was the GOAT but he got there with Pippin.
Pippin & Jordan Hand in Hand made each other who they were.

Mid 90s. Me and my dad are at the player exit of UC, just us absolutely zero other people... Got so many autographs. This dude doesn't even make eye contact and walks right by. We saw his car drive off his plate said "Da Pip."
Not saying he deserves anything, just wanna give you my perspective.
My parents bought me his autograph on a plaque for ~40 dollars, and I sold it decades later for 1000.

He is also human, who can be emotional sometimes, and that’s normal to me. I don’t think he deserves that much hate and I respect him for keeping head on all the time.

I don't judge what somebody does, says, or acts like in their private domain. Scottie PIPPEN is an amazing basketball player. That's the end of that . I don't judge him, R Kelly , Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby or whoever. That's their business .
