I feel like the evil kid is the only one who’s completely unaware of how bad this material is, like everyone else acts like they sort of know the lines are bad, but evil kid is going HARD
Sharkboy and lavagirl is a movie about a boy who develops maladaptive daydreaming from the trauma of his parents’ divorce.
I'm pretty sure the reason George Lopez played those 4 characters is because they were all different perspectives Max had of the teacher character. The electric villain is obviously for that whole "give up on your dreams" bit, the robot thing because the teacher is generally doing his job, and the ice golem thing is because he's also a parent and parents are super protective and stuff. That doesn't make it good, of course, but I think that the choice was very deliberate.

This movie is a fever dream. I remember watching it as a kid and asking everyone at school if they had seen it to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Sharkboy and Lavagirl was made as a story by the director kid son when his son was 7 years old so the director turn his son story into a movie

This movie was my childhood but looking at it now it looks like an acid trip lol
I love this movie, even to this day. George Lopez’s electricity puns match the same level of stupidity as Mr. Freeze’s ice puns in Batman and Robin.
