Do you think your payload has gone down with the new suspension? Or do you think it is better for towing? I have the same truck and tow 7500 pound travel trailer. Also any update on gas mileage?
It’s just blocks in the back and still has an inch or so of rake so should be able to tow pretty close to stock, but I’d check with Cognito to be sure. I don’t tow much so it wasn’t something I read too much into
Yeah… no public land here like many other states. Hidden Falls Adventure park is a cool place if you have a good build or sxs. There some overland country roads over by James River Road. Unrelated, mountain bike scene is getting better if you need an alternative. Spider Mountain in Burnet has a chairlift service. Most of my offroad is oilfield work and camping on private property through HipCamp
Thanks, no rubbing with the stock setup. If you go with a tire any wider than you’ll need a wheel with more offset cognitomotorsports.com/cognito-3-inch-performance-leveling-lift-kit-with-elka-2-0-ifp-shocks-for-19-23-silverado-sierra-1500-2wd-4wd.html
@ nice. I had methods on my old truck and have always gone with the falkems. Great tires. I went with nitto recons this time because I didn't want to wait a week for falkens after I got my lift. Can't wait to see pics.
If I had more time with it before wheels and tires went on I would! Pretty short window just to get this video shot with a few other things going on. BUT! I think they setup will look awesome end of the day
Hopefully the new wheel setup will not make the rig feel sluggish. I love the look with your factory wheels with different tires. I have a Ford with 35's but really like the way it performs with the stock tires.
Could you do measurement front and rear to the fenders? Still rake

Just got stationed here in SA, where do you "offroad" around here? I have been looking for a place to hunt and explore. No public land here it seems.

@@nikkicovack Awesome i'll check it out. I have a full sized truck so overland is more what I look for.
Did the stock tires rub at all on the upper control arms ? Also do you have the link of the lift ? Nice truck boss !!

How wide are your tires ? My current tire set up is a 285/55/22 and I am not sure if they will fit with your set up.
What wheels and tires are you going with?
@@KevinFlores-xo3em Ive got some method 305 wheels and falken tires on their way in

I would mileage test your truck with the stock tires to see how much you lose just by lifting.
