- Today I unbox the GF76, or Pulse R76, from Gameface! A while back I played in an airsoft event with a U.S. Marine. When we were playing pairs and I was partnered with him I asked him about his gun. He said it was one of the best guns out there for its price (despite being Gameface). $120 dollars on Amazon. It still hasn't jammed or given me any problems! Hatchets forever!

this was my very first airsoft gun, and boy did it carry me far. The field I play at (Battlelab) has a rule that says if your gun shoots under 300fps, you are allowed full auto and no MED, so this gun was perfect.
Ive since given it away to a friend, since i now have far better weapons at my disposal, but boy was that thing great for how cheap it was. no jams, no malfunctions, and it shot somewhat straight.

Great review! Just subbed. I got this as one of my first airsoft guns when I started playing airsoft back in 2018. Very great gun although my motor shredded the plastic gear in the gearbox. Most likely due to me being a beginner and not adjusting the motor and full auto-ing it all the time nonstop for long periods of time. For the price it is a great gun so I’m just going to buy a new one as I’m not a great airsoft mechanic. I’m currently running the Novritsch SSR-15.
I'm 56 and just ordered this today. Now just $87 on Amazon Black Monday Sale. I'm as excited as an 8 year old on Christmas Eve. EDIT: It was OK but the receiver was wobbly and hence the scope was wobbly and accuracy was not what I wanted. Returned it and ordered a GameFace GFM4NFB Ripcord M4. Solid receiver plate, 75 more fps, better looking in my opinion, but more expensive.

That's pretty cool! Congratulations! And I suggest this gun for those who only have enough money for it, if they have more money to spend on airsoft I suggest getting something like a Valken ASL or Cyma AK.

This is a nice gun and I was even able to add a tracer unit to it. So far I haven't had any issues at all.

@@benleider5644 At that Amazonian place and the unit is "ACETECH-Bifrost-Tracer Unit with M14-CCW and M11+CW Thread". You have to remove the current muzzle device than cut away the plastic that's covering up the treads underneath. You will also need the thread adapter also - DREAM ARMY Airsoft Metal Outer Barrel Adapter (+14mm to -14mm) / B. Once you have that adapter you can use any tracer that has the same type of thread.

U should loosen the safety it scratches the gun also the the stock of the gun scratches the front hand grip when folded.

It's actually normal for aks ever all will have a scratch where the safety is de it's normal
Alright, that makes me feel better, I tried and it didn't work, so that's good. And if I get some other scratches on it it will look like I use it a lot more than I actually do😂

I bought this and the only problem I've had is after shooting on semi for a while the trigger gives resistance and it doesn't fire. Soon as I switch it to full it works. Any help is appreciated.
Since it is a cheaper gun it can't handle "feathering the trigger". In other words the electronics can't handle shooting super fast in semi.

Hey I’m not really sure what I’m doing wrong I’m new to this. I just bought this gun and I got it and it shot a couple times but then it would stop shooting I would take the clip out and like 5 BBs fall out. This kept happening and all of the sudden it just doesn’t shoot AT ALL. I opened this thing like 2 hours ago can someone please help out. Thanks
Alright, so first of all the bbs falling out is completely normal. That happens with just about all airsoft guns. Now to the real problem. So you said you opened this 2 hours ago as of the time you commented? Well you would need to charge the battery for 6 hours (a full charge) before using. Batteries never come full. If the problem still occurs let me know and I can help.
This my first airsoft gun and it’s a great starter. Fits right in a backpack to take to the field. Size is good for cqb too. 375 rounds in the mag is generous. May possibly fit a drum in this?
Possibly... Officially it takes proprietary mags. But I have found there are some AK mags that fit with a bit of extra force. But a drum mag would be awesome 😎
@@hatchetclan the only problem i see is you cannot attach any barrel attachments unless...you break off the muzzle tip with some tools like on several videos here done

What caliber does this shoot? .12? .20?
Also, how long does it take to charge the battery? Should I be careful to not overcharge it?
All awesome questions! For grams of bbs .20 are good but I recommend .25. .12 probably wouldn't work. For the battery it takes about 6-8 hours to charge but will practically last forever. As for over charging I wouldn't go over 8. I hope this helps.

I bought this gun a few months back, and the only problem I've had so far is that sometimes the semi auto doesn't work, but other than that it's a pretty good gun for the price. Also, do you know if there's a way to mount tracers or mock suppressors? Edit: also, I don't like the magazine because the little lever you push to eject the BBs is super hard to access.
If semi or full isn't working is to switch it to the other mode, fire a few shots, and switch it back. As for tracers and such sadly there is no threads underneath the orange tip. As for ejecting bbs from the mag if you use a screwdriver and push with that it is a lot easier. I hope this helps. Please respond if you have any more questions.
@@hatchetclan I actually found some threads on the barrel. So on the like end of the barrel that comes out of the front of the gun there's a little screw. Unscrew that and you can remove the whole flash hider. I also got another magazine that worked better.
@@joeroth1124 That's awesome. I just tried unscrewing that screw. The whole front comes off. There is threads but I will have to figure about how to keep some things on. Such as the top of the grip and possibly the front sight. Once I figure it out (or have other input) I will try to make a vid on it. Also what mags do you use?

I don't like how you have to load the airsoft bbs up with the white lever on the bottom because you have to do it constantly.
So if you actually wind it up 50-60 times at the start, it will last for most of the mag, then you only have to wind it a few times after that and you're good for the whole mag.

Sorry for the late reply but I do not believe the flash hider comes off. You could probably just saw it off and duct tape or find another way to put a silencer or tracer on

That's true. If you have the motivation and wifi, you can basically do anything to your airsoft gun! ;)

Mine isn’t firing. I loaded the mag with bbs but it won’t fire on semi or full auto. Maybe I’m missing something as I’m pretty new to airsoft guns but I can’t seem to find what’s wrong.

@@hatchetclan I eventually figured it out. It wasn’t firing because I didn’t know to draw the bullets to the top of the mag using the spiky spinner on the bottom of the magazine

Can you reduce the FPS for this gun on the fly?
I don't believe so. Lowering the fps would probably include switching out some of the internals. Hope that helps.
While I know this gun can shoot 6mm BB's, is it also compatible with 2mm?
No, the majority of airsoft only works with 6mm. I don't think I've heard of a rifle that uses 2mm.

hey hachet clan. love your vids. i just got my gf76 today and sometimes in semi it will stop shooting then i have to swith it to full auto. is there any way that i can fix that problem? Thank you
So that's normal, but something that's very easily avoidable. Due to it being a lower quality gearbox and internals compared to other slightly more expensive rifles it can't shoot as fast. Don't try to shoot shots super quickly in succession. Fiddle around with it until you find the sweet spot. You can still get lots of successive shots off, but they have to be timed correctly. Practice and it will soon become second nature.

Yeah, I have a short in it but here's the simple instructions: take off the dust cover/battery cover, there are three screws underneath the top of the dust cover, just unscrew those and you should be good to go!

The alem key is for the motor adjustment by the hand grip under
With all due respect, the Allen key is actually for winding the mag. There is a regular Phillips screw underneath the handle for removing the motor. You were close!
So I have this exact gun and it stopped shooting but I don’t have many bbs probably like 20 or less in the mag and it won’t shoot so do you think that is the problem

Yup! All airsoft guns use 6mm.
Is it possible to put a vertical foregrip?
Yes it is but due to the material covering the rail it will probably wobble more that a regular rail

Thank you! For the price, I would recommend it to start. If you have a higher budget, let's say about 200 bucks, you would probably want something better quality. Absolutely! Simply remove the battery cover and on the underside of the battery cover is two small screws. Take those out and you ready to go!

Does anybody know if the bio frost tracer attached works on this?
Personally I don't know but I can do some research on the size of threads and such
Alright, sorry for the late reply but I did some research and the most common type of threads would be 14mm counter-clockwise. Or 14mm negative. According to Airsoft GI and Evike the majority of guns have this thread and the majority of silencers and tracers also use this type. Please keep in mind this gun may be different but I would think you are safe assuming it is 14mm negative. Hope this helps.

Is there a way to take off the rail?
Yes there is! I do not have a sight for it so I took off the rail. I can post a vid about it but basically you take off the battery cover and on the underside there are two or three small screws that when you remove them the rail comes off. Just make sure to save the screws! Hatchets Forever!

I used this in acouple airsoft wars it did me well it's very durable but I hate the rail because I couldnt get my holo site to work and it was like 2 inches above to where i actually wanted to shoot

Good question, the original is 8.4v so I bought a 8.4v tenergy as a backup and it works pretty well. I don't know much about batteries so it could either make it shoot crisper or just not work.

Usually two days of a few hours each after a full charge. So over 4 hours of continuous use. Most of that I was on semi so it's going to go down quicker using auto constantly.
What mags does it use and can I get extras
Basically any Cyma ak mags will fit. But you have to be careful bc they are not perfect. Mine fits but isn't as secure as the original

As I mentioned in the video I had talked to marine at an airsoft event and he was using this gun, I told him I was looking for a new gun and he said he highly recommended this gun.

Whats the gun based off of?
It is based off of the AK-47 but with a foldable stock(which pretty sure wouldn't be one a real one)
From what I know, it might be based on a Draco with an underfold stock

Yes, it comes with a battery and a charger. I do suggest getting another battery as well as a smart charger so you know when it's done charging. Overall with the regular charger it takes about 5-7 hours to go from 0% to 100%

Approximately 6-8 hours. No more than 8 but 4 will get you some good play time in. It will last a full day of airsoft on a full charge. At least from my experience.

I would suggest 6 for now. Once you completely drain the battery you could charge it for 8. Overall 6 is a good number to start with.

I have 2,000 Tracer BBs From Game Face, they seem very Hard, and they are Polish, so they fly very fast, I have 0.12 g 6mm bbs.
i know 0.20 o higher is better, but, with a tracer, if you use 0.12, the speed of the BB is at Max. So you could fire tracers as fast as possible at mediums ranges is OP...
AND btw, that gun, is PRESTINE, very sExy to see in deed, thank you for the Content.

Yeah, so I might have mentioned it in the video but I only recommend this gun if your budget is $120. If your budget is around $150-$200 there are definitely better choices. But for it's price, I believe it is worth it. Hope that makes sense.

I believe I mentioned it in the video. I was at an airsoft event playing on the same team as a marine. I had a chance to talk to him and he was using this gun and recommended it to me as a beginner gun. Hope that clears it up.
