  • I set the max speed to 1600 in service mode for this video, changed back to 1400 now.

      @@LaundryGuy1500because motor has two different coils for 0 to 1200 rpm and 1200 to 1600-1800 rpm. and the relay set at the control board, switching to high speed coils when it ramp up to 1600rpm Meanwhile spin speed slow down a bit:))

    Laundryguy1500 why did your machine changed the speed to 1400rpm? What the drum rotates like in real life while spinning? It rotates very slow when looking in the glass. But in real life the machine rotates very fast

    Why is the pump make such pulse sound? is it turning on and off rapidly? The pump in my Cylinda FT5074 does not have a pulse sound.

      It's the leftover water going up the drain hose then falling back into the pump causing that sound, some machines do it others don't, my bosch did it when I did its first test spin but doesn't do it now as I've put a longer drain hose on

    is this machine normally 1400 or 1600 if it is 1400 can you please tell me how you set it to 1600? thank you

      Normally 1400, to get 1600 you need to access the config menu by holding start while powering on, the light flashes a few times and then when it goes solid click it 5 times and hold it the last time, thenthere's a setting in there maximum spin speed you can change it from 1000 to 1600. Wouldn't recommend doing it so it's your own risk 😂 but this machines been fine since, I changed it back to 1400

      @@aeg_silentsystem only works on models with this type display btw, don't think it's possible on the classic style models like yours

      But as a reference to the tone of the motor sound, I notice that it speeds up from 1200rpm to 1600rpm without spinning up to 1400rpm then 1600rpm.

      @@LaundryGuy1500 Believe it or not, I can't remember and the manual isn't that specific. It's a mid priced one which I bought last summer.
      EDIT: I think it's a WWG 120XL

    This actually goes to 1600 rpm unlike my candy
    Miele is the best candy is the worst

      My candy barely even reaches 1400 on empty spin (even my old Indesit was able to reach 1600 rpm)

    All washing machines but not Samsung and LG have brushed motors, that's why they don't take spinning so longer.

      Most machines currently on the market have inverter motors now. Even basic serie 2 bosch machines and most new beko do

      It depends on the drum size because like on a car you are going 30mph (50kph) the wheel will be doing 400 but if the wheel was smaller it would be going quicker

      Dion Geter it’s like if the drum is smaller it would be going the same amount of rpm but if it’s bigger the drum but he going quicker but if the drum was smaller it would be going slower in mph or kph

      The motor is DC brushed motor, and you don't hear any electric humming sound from it compared to universal brushed motor, and you do hear electric humming sound from universal brushed motor.

      @@DisuzOnYT Yeah, and brushed DC motor has the armature, and 2 permanent magnets on the sides, and it has the commutator rings, and it has carbon brushes that are in contact with the commutator, they transmit the electricity to the armature and the motor rotates, but a universal motor doesn't have permanent magnets, it has the armature, and the stator, and the commutator, and the carbon brushes, which is a motor that can run either on DC or AC, it runs the same way as brushed DC motor, and a universal motor does contain an electric humming sound.

      It's a brushed dc motor so it's quieter than a normal brush motor but it isn't inverter
