try not to add the softener to the first cycle (with the detergent) because the softener acts like a neutralizer to the detergent and then, it's pointless to wash them all
but you dripped a little, and also when it started washing, it dropped a considerate quantity, i suggest to pour it carefully and not fill it completely
You act like he poured the cap into the tub with detergent, I put my softener in the dispenser and sometimes a little drips by accident, not a big deal. Cannot always expect perfection when pouring it lol.
Amazing roll over. it's sad what automatic top load washers have become today. This magic chef brand a long ago time ago was originally manufactured by Maytag right?
it's all to do with the way the agitator itself is designed that creates the roll over during the wash. nowadays they have turned to low profile agitators which just tosses the laundry about inside the washer.
I forgot when Maytag bought Norge, but they kept Norge a separate company, where the machines were different from the Maytag machines. I don't know if the other appliances were different, or made like Maytag. I only know the laundry business had 2 different businesses. I know the Norge portion of the business made Magic Chef, as well as some of Montgomery Ward's washers & dryers (White Consolidated Industries also made washers & dryers for Montgomery Ward). I especially liked the Norge lineup of washers that somehow made it to where every other stroke of the agitator sprayed water out of the top of the agitator, as a way to filter lint out of the water. I always wondered if it ever clogged up from too much lint trying to filter through the agitator. My brother had the Montgomery Ward model of a washer, similar to this.
originally a norge, but was redesigned at that time by M/C engineers that bought Norge, then bought by Maytag which drove the companies into bankruptcy, which was bought out by Whirlpool which scrapped all maytag production except Jenn-air. replaced the washers with all whirlpool lines. speed queen (also a Maytag brand) was kept as an old school design for a few years, now it's a very high end commercial style electronic control. also made under Alliance brand as commercial. P.S kitchen-aid and Amana are owned by whirlpool, and Hardwick if you can still find it in your area.

Where did you get that fabric softener dispenser?? I must have one!
This randomly popped up in my recommended list
11:56 The washer is unbalanced
Just like a speed queen
Yep
@Albert Carello Let's not get crazy now.
it is! the agitation and everything!
Now magic chef is owned by chefmate
@@markhannan635 now I uuuk man no. .
I used to own a Montgomery Wards washer (built by Norge) & it did use a lot of water. One other thing I know is that you shouldn't use 2 pods. That is too much for 1 load.
No it’s not lol read the instructions you can use up to 3

It’s 3:35 AM... what am I doing with my life?
idk
ًSomething with Bungalow .
The same thing that I’m doing with mine at 11:59 am. Lol. This spin cycle is mesmerizing.
bro why does it shake so much while spinning 😭
Cus
Because that’s what normal Toploaders do even my washing machine is dancing
WELL ITS STILL DANCING😊👺😨
Omg lol
It’s kinda old
The rinse was there appropriate amount of water for that size of a load!

You know I have to go go back home and I do have to work on the daily lol I don’t want frost in the bed
I wonder who made this for Magic Chef. I’m pretty sure it’s rebranded. I have a Crosley that’s virtually identical.
grandcarriage1 Norge made this one
DaSamNudge That’s who I thought!!! As I said, my Crosley is identical, although a lower model: BOL heavy duty. One less dial. It doesn’t so much wash clothes as it “Bitchslapps the dirt out of them”. I LOVE IT. What year, do you think this is?(did you buy it New, I guess is what I’m asking).
Definitely norge
Amazing . 😱
This machine is as good as my speed queen. If I didn't own a speed queen already I would definitely have this. Do they still make these?
Blackdragon79 speed queen sucks
Cool Boy
That's your opinion. Mine says they are great.

14:30 when the fabric softener dispenses, it is so weird sounding
It flows up, and stays there until it can fall. The squeak sound is the brake.
@@agarcia4271gaming yep, I know how it works
I like top load washers with agitators.
Me too. I find the ones without agitators kinda weird
@@FIRESTAR56566 I love agitator washers! I hate those pathetic mini-agitator washers...the new H.E. ones...My god I hate those so much!! Someone even commented on my UA-cam channel The Random Videos Guy Aye "Garbage I hate these machines the new H.E. Direct Drives are better." Never watched his videos since...he always criticizes my appliances...I am a HUGE addict of these vintage washers!
When Maytag took over Norge, did they stick with the old Norge design or shift over to the Maytag design?
They sticked to the norge design
My mom used to have a maytag proforma made by norge we had that washer for about 3 years
They used they used Norge's design
Before that Maytag made magic chef dryer was purchased,
Was there a matching dryer for the Norge made Magic chef Washer?
Christopher Schreiber aka SiameseCatMan yep, that broke though. I don't remember exactly but I do remember that it didn't heat anymore and the timer wouldn't stop it. the one there now doesn't match but it's still better than the modern trash.
DaSamNudge I thought so,
I so agree,
Modern appliances(except for Speed Queen) sucks!
The HE washers with the agitators are better than the ones without the agitators. but no HE washers are better than Speed Queens and the old agitator washers.
Peyton Leopold Well, um those are the energy star rated washers
Buen funcionamiento
What does the alligator in the washing machine does anyways just asking
It helps to turn them over
Turn over means the clothes move from the top of the washer to the bottom and back to the top, which helps clothes get clean
Can you do another video of that machine on a large load with the fabric softener dispenser/stain cleaner on the regular cycle?
Please?
Mixing lights and darks? Really?
Yes
Uuuu888tty😮❤6til 6til 5je en 65545r55
How are they doing that?
Used to be against the law
Do you still have this washer?
try not to add the softener to the first cycle (with the detergent) because the softener acts like a neutralizer to the detergent and then, it's pointless to wash them all
Oliver Lugo yeah that's why I put it in the dispenser
but you dripped a little, and also when it started washing, it dropped a considerate quantity, i suggest to pour it carefully and not fill it completely
You act like he poured the cap into the tub with detergent, I put my softener in the dispenser and sometimes a little drips by accident, not a big deal. Cannot always expect perfection when pouring it lol.
Looks like a Speed Queen washer.
did the machine die?
I'm not sure, so your guess is good as mine. Maybe even better than mine.
Let me do the laundry
Why
Drub
i like looking the washing mashine cleaning up the clothes
I'm also not the only one who's cool
Amazing roll over. it's sad what automatic top load washers have become today. This magic chef brand a long ago time ago was originally manufactured by Maytag right?
This machine was manufactured by Norge, I'm not entirely sure what brands other machines from Magic Chef were manufactured by though.
it's all to do with the way the agitator itself is designed that creates the roll over during the wash. nowadays they have turned to low profile agitators which just tosses the laundry about inside the washer.
DaSamNudge e
I think that they also made Admiral washing machines.
