my cdl is automatic .my personal car is stick shift for 3 years i just wanna know about what are your think,would i be able to drive stick shift truck.
Yes it's almost the same just slower. Semi has a clutch brake that slows the 'mesh' down so you can switch the gear, that your car don't have. You can 'float' or 'double clutch' (look them up if you don't know, lots of vids to give you the idea), just takes a lil practice to master. You already know the basics which is the hardest part- getting started from a dead stop. Next hardest (for me) was downshifting. I came from a Nissan Hardbody pu. You do have to test drive at dmv to remove auto restriction but you don't have to do everything over, they just want to see that you can drive a manual.

You would have to go back to your local dmv and retest in a stick shift truck to get automatic restriction taken off.

Don't switch gears going over RR tracks. A lil practice and you'll get it
