According to the rulebook you replace the artifacts with emperor requests, drawing 3 of them at the start and filling the 3 artifact spots. I've double checked in both the 1.0 and 2.0 versions of the rulebook, yet most Co-op guides mention 2 requests and not 3.
Everyone is saying that coop version in two players is too hard and they cannot win. We played two games and we won them easily. So I found this video to check, what we are playing wrong... and now I see, that Mike wins easily as well, he even did not play the last round entirely... So I don't know what is going on...

At 34:47 you attack with ALL soldiers (blue and red) on the step 3 of the command card but designer respond on BGG that it's only yours because black background on command card is just for you I discovered the game and i was really disapointed by mistakes or unprecise semantic (like here : all that didn't mean all...). but there are a looooot
Good catch! And yeah, NOT great clarity on rules and card text in multiple places. Like here they say "YOUR soldiers" in the top black box, and not in the bottom box. Adding that one extra word would avoid any confusion :) I'll add a timestamp to the video for the correction. Thanks again.
Just got this game, I was wondering if we're three (3) players we keep all three horde lanes right? :) Its been so hard to play- we've only played twice
Would have been nice if they used actual words on the cards instead of icons. Then it would have been easier to understand the cards instead of needing to decipher them.
