In the summer The panels are laid down at the angle they are set at now so as to receive the direct rays of the sun. In the winter they are raised to a greater angle to line up with the sun which will be lower in the sky. In upstate NY I get quite a lot of snow, and with the more vertical angle of the panels the reflection of light from the snow behind the panels will give me 30% (they say) more energy production when I need it most with the shorter days . Great question, thanks!
I was holding my breath when you opened the box 🗃️ glad to see everything was intact! God bless you doing all that work by yourself!! Glad to see they are working better for you.
That's a great upgrade. Man, you're living my dream!!
Thanks. I am trying!
They are huuuuge!!!!
yes they are!
Nice to see the new panels arrived undamaged. The bi-facial should make a difference in the winter. Maybe the old panels could make a second string.
I was thinking of that. As long as they are in parallel and not series with the new panels that should work! It would be great in the winter.
a nice upgrade for you!
Thanks!
Why did you get bifacial when clearly that rack provides no benefit to the bifacial panels.?

Homesteading alone can be hard at times. But by the grace of God I manage! Thanks for watching.
