Andre was the second leading scorer for the Warriors that series. He was also 4th in rebounds and third in assists. It wasn't just his defense on Lebron. And while Steph probably should've won fMVP, Andre still had a legendary performance. Maybe if he didn't win fMVP, people today would appreciate that performance more. In his own way, his contributions were on par with Kyrie, Pau Gasol, and a lot of other clutch finals performers who weren't the main star on their team.

I already said Andre value but Andre earned that Finals MVP because Andre realized starting or on the bench for him doesn't matter he can turn off the TV very rare in the NBA.
