Thank you SO much for your video! Your instructions were clear and easy to follow. Using your video I was able to sew my first ever completed piece/set of clothing. Thank you again!
I love your videos!!! I’m watching this even though, I don’t want another infant...for now. Lol But I am using your low back toddler dress tutorial to make my daughter’s Easter dress! Will comment and let you know how it turned out!🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 And congratulations! Glad you’re feeling better.
CONGRATULATIONS 🥳🎊🎉💙💚💙 I had girl, boy, boy & girl lol. I had the same as my mum and same age gaps so when pregnant with my 4th I was convinced she was a boy lol everything else matched. My kids personalities and body frames and looks match my brothers lol. The universe has a crazy sense of humour 😂😂😂 This is so cute. xx
Excellent tutorial with really essential information. I do my waistbands as you do, I feel its the easiest method using elastic. Could you do a tutorial doing a yoga waistband for little ones. I'm a bit wary of them, do they stay up considering the amount of movement toddlers do.... Thank you.
Hello Carla! You don't necessarily, but if your going to use a different fabric try to make sure whatever you're tracing for the pattern is similar to the fabric you'll be using. That way you can insure the fit will be as accurate as possible. Especially if the fabric has no stretch. Hope that helps. 😊
Hello Jessica! When tracing around tops I always poke through along the seams of the armhole and neckline with a seam ripper so I can mark it onto the craft paper underneath. So essentially when I lift the shirt up there will be little holes on the paper I trace over to get the most accurate shape of the armhole/neckline. Hope that makes sense. 😊
Hi I’m a newbie to your page and also to the sewing world. I watched many videos and is so excited to try this. When u say u poked with your seem ripper are u saying u took the shirt apart to get your measurement?
Hello Lisa! So by poke through I mean poking through the seams of the garment onto the kraft/pattern paper to indicate the line for tracing. Usually it's along the armhole or neckline seams. Hope that makes sense. 😊
Hello Aminath! Thank you and you're welcome! Also, anytime your sewing fabric with a stretch it's best to use a zigzag stitch so that 1) you can keep the stretch throughout the fabric. 2) to prevent the thread from popping/breaking at the seams. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hello Brittany! Me personally I've always purchased singer brands and have had really good experiences. However, I'm not too knowledgeable in the differences between different brands. I'd do some research on your specific needs/wants and consider your level experience before purchasing a sewing machine. You can find some pretty good videos here on UA-cam that should help guide you on where to start. I hope that helps!
@@ForeSeeLove Thank u .Im wondering because there is that marking wheel which u run it over the pattern carbonated paper underneath to transfer the marks to another paper or fabric but I havent use it myself until now, I didnt even buy it yet
@@jasmineelfiky1410 yes! I have one of those too, but I find the seam ripper works better for me. Especially when I'm trying to trace through thicker fabrics (specifically along the upper arm seams).
I am getting confused with the pants tutorial as my pants aren’t turning out cut the same way yours is so I’m using an alternative method. It looks awesome though!
Congrats I just found out im expecting and due on New Year’s Day lol . So this is perfect I’m going to practice on some cheap fabric then when I find out the gender I’ll invest .
Hello Ashley! Congratulations! And practice makes perfect. Plus you have plenty of time to get it right before baby gets here. Hoping for a healthy pregnancy for you. Thanks for watching! 😊

Thank you.
Hello Janet! The yoga waistband is definitely on my long list of things to do lol. So be on the lookout for that. Thanks so much for watching! 😊
So I need to use stretchy fabric or can I use cotton premium

I'm new at sewing what does she mean when she poked a whole to indicate the seam?

What kind of sewing machine do you recommend?

I’m having a really tough time sewing in the ankle bands any tips ?
Hello Ashley! Ok, let's see. Are stretching to fit as you sew around? What specifically are you having trouble with?
Lovely but I really want to see how u use seam ripper to mark the pattern
Hello Jazmine! I'll definitely be mindful of that in my next tutorial. 😊
