🔬 About Dr. Kristin Connor
Dr. Kristin Connor, Associate Professor at Carleton University, leads a transdisciplinary research program focused on maternal, fetal, and child health. Her expertise includes studying early life nutrition, maternal health states, and their effects on pregnancy and developmental outcomes. She’s dedicated to developing innovative ways to predict and prevent adverse pregnancy outcomes and chronic diseases, while improving early developmental trajectories.
Dr. Connor serves on advisory boards and councils for leading health organizations, edits for the Journal of Developmental Origins of Health and Disease, and co-founded the Alliance Against Iron Deficiency in Benin. Her groundbreaking work is supported by CIHR, NSERC, and other notable organizations.
