Beautiful school and it's amazing how you're very intentional about entrenching your family in everything that defines who we're and what we're destined to become if we really invest in our own things,so nothing but the best for our niece. Our African dream is only just beginning 🇿🇦.
The school and the infrastructure around the area was built by the Royal Bafokeng Monarch: King Leruo Molotlegi with the proceeding from Platinum unearthed in his land. He made sure that the carriculum is of international standard. Bafokeng are a very progressive community; he made sure that everyone from his community benefit from the wealth.
A king looking after his people
@isoboy1000 It's Chief Mollwane's legacy, Chief Leruo just continued with it when he succeeded him.
Ponelopele means vision in Setswana 😊. I love how Kgosi (king) Leruo Molotlegi of the Bafokeng is ensuring that the profits of the platinum mined on his people's land benefits his people
Beautiful school .I hope she loves it there and makes great friends to last her a lifetime and build a great network for future business endeavors.
I hope so too!
Thank Ashley for showing this video. Who said us the Melinin cannot have our own property. I wish your daughter achieves the best in her motherland and home S.A. This is triumph of the nation called THE ROYAL BAFOKENG kingship. The place is rich in Platinum. Our minerals can take us forward.
Thank you for watching
Wow this school looks amazing! As a single mother moving back to motherland, I’m having anxiety about boarding school. If you’re comfortable to share, it would be good if you could do a video about your thought process of moving from day to boarding.
This does not surprise me in the least sis. Have you considered African Leadership Academy as well? I pulled my eldest out of the American public school system and put her in a private prep boarding school in Ghana. She is now off to college in NYC, pulling my youngest out once she is done with elementary so she does middle and high school on the continent. Ghana’s private schools are nice but nowhere near the level of South Africa so you are absolutely spoilt for choice! And yes boarding school is excellent!
Yes, I have. I am very interested in ALA. Thanks for your feedback
@@AshleyinAfrika African Leadership Academy is a stone throw away from where im staying and takes only grade 11&12 or those who have completed grade 12 . The last time I checked their fees were around $30 000plus.
Stevie Wonder has returned home to Ghana and make Ghana his home in Africa I can't wait for my day to come to return home to Africa almighty God willing.
Take action an make it happen for yourself. If it's in your heart, God has already shown you that it can be
@@AshleyinAfrika so true so true so true.
Man's always been iconic and coming back home to contribute in the growth and profile of Africa is truly a monumental act of love and pride he's bestowed upon all of us.May God bless him always 🇿🇦✊🏾.
Wow so Beautiful and Clean, hope your daughter enjoy her time there and make some good friends and slowly learning indigenous South African Language, i wish your daughter all the best at her New School
Thank you so much 🤗
The school is very well taken care off.that shows discipline right there.
It's breathtaking
That school is owned by the the Royal Bafokeng family
Not the family, but the bafokeng nation
Oh... I wish you hadn't said that unless she also said it... Safety.
I recognized the school because I went there for a work seminar thing and was blown away by the infrastructure
@@nosiphomsomi4901 The school was not built by the family, it was built by the bafokeng nation's money.
@@tshiamomaremela6870hawu... I only said I wish he hadn't said the name of the school unless the content creator said it,only for safety/privacy/ security reasons. Mandlenkosi also didn't say who built it. From what I learnt when I got there was that it was built by the Bafokeng king

KZN boarding school are also top tier. Best schools in SA are in kzn and most expensive are in KZN. lot of luxury there.
Thanks for the tips!
😅😅😅It not a competition come on,this is South Africa and that's the most important thing
But more expensive than universities
I know one of them Sarel Cylliers in Dundee. They paid more tuition than my BSC physicz degree. That was when I realised that some families are balling in this country. @@ntokozohlatshwayo4805
I wouldn’t say KZN has best schools rather say most private schools are best.
amazing, didnt know about this school! figured its in the NW since you said its 3 hours from jozi, and heard them speaking Setswana, so checked it out, looks very beautiful and modern! have you checked out other boarding schools around the country by the way, such as Potch girls also in the NW (that's where i went), lol, or DSG in Makhanda, St Andrews in Bedfordview, Rodean school, st stithians, many other schools that are great to name a few, and perhaps closeby and are well renouned :) Anywho, Wish you all the best with the boarding school decision! boarding is fun, she'll create great memories and love it!
Thank you so much! I'll be sure to share this message with Z. She's doing her research as well.
Wow! Plus the beautiful South African weather to boot.
I was in boarding school in Cape Town. Sharing a room is not determined by price but by earning the academic, cultural or sport prestige to have the the right to your own private room. The younglings need to learn to get along, the seniors if there is capacity and they have earned the privilege can get single rooms, or have to share with just one other person. Or that is how it worked in my boarding school. In my first year I shared a room with 11 other girls, and in matric just one other girl. Same with eating priveleges. Matrics ate first, Grade *ters lasts ^^;
Woooaahhh, that’s impressive. It’s giving African luxury ❤ No wonder she wants to go to boarding school 🎉
Exactly! African Luxury all the way!
This looks like my university dorm room.. for a high school, it's very fancy.
The campus is incredible!
Better than a university dorm room. UCT is my Alma Mater, the number 1 university in Africa. It has nothing like this.
I have been looking at this school for my kids as well. It’s definitely on the list
😂😂😂 As for grade 11 amd grade matric, you got a hang of that Mzansi lingo😂😂❤❤❤❤
This was beautiful Ash thank you
Nice school for sure. She will enjoy
Rustenburg is a beautiful City too and that school is one of the beautiful schools that we are proud off around
Ponelopele should be Penelope's African name. It suits her
🤌🏾Nailed it…that’s her from now on😅!
@@LadyT06 akere!! 😉
@@Bantu_Doll net daar☺️!!
Hey Ashley, you can now greet in Sesotho 🙌.
And Ponelopele means a vision or a visionary
I went to a fantastic school in Durban, KZN called St. Mary’s. The school and boarding facilities are incredible. I didn’t board the whole time but was at the school from grade 1 to grade 12 and having experienced it as a day scholar and boarder, the boarding was wonderful. #recommended 😊
Ashley dabbling in Sesotho. That was awesome.
Thank you. I try.
That's setswana not sesotho
@@ViginiaMolai what's the difference?
@@Seeta_sa_gauta the culture and language

Hi Ashley is this owned by the Royal Bafokeng Kingdom?
You guessed it!
@@AshleyinAfrika This is awesome thanks for sharing the school with us
Lebone College In the North West Province.
❤❤❤❤❤It's most beautiful school. Thank sis for visiting this school.
That school looks so beautiful.im going to a boarding school in a few months, but it doesn't look this good. But its a good school. I'm exited to make new friends and achievements ❤
Good luck!!
I can't believe my school is here😝😝 brings back memories
Wow, that campus is so amazing!

Lol. The video met an abrupt end. I thought it was a UA-cam ad interuption 😂
Me too 😭
This remind me of a school in Washington DC I used to work at
But it's in South Africa. How amazing is that!
@@AshleyinAfrika yes totally amazing.. hands up blessings

Thank you so much for sharing. How exciting for your daughter.
You are so welcome!
Very beautiful place
It really is!
Home sweet home 🎯🏆
Very beautiful campus.... have you carefully looked the curriculum over ?
Good looking school agreed, but don't think it's the highest standard for SA schools because the boarding school I went to was impeccable🔥
Nice looking high school boarding school and nice nature outside 😊
It really is!
And it's Black owned. That's great.
U are one expat whos not holding back u enjoying every province,i see most expats restricting themselves to Johannesburg but u are just all over the country n i like dat by the way u drove pass my home town "Witbank" in a video wer u stopped in middleburg mall
This country is beautiful-I love every meter of it.
There are boarding schools in the US, but they are not idealized. Americans tend to believe that boarding schools are for people who do not like their children. Some of them are designed to be punitive, to "correct" kids with behabioral problems. (Donald Trump was shipped off to such a school.). This school looks lovely. What has happened with the school Oprah built in SA because Americans "weren't grateful enough" to fund one in the US. It's been around long enough to have graduated many outstanding students. Has it? Or did the sex abuse scandal undermine it?
We hope to see in the next 20 years, more than 2 million Americans become permanent or temporary residents in Africa, traveling back-and -forth between Africa and America for work, business and tourism.
That is why the continent needs to upgrade its infrastructures and public administration and governance to deal with this massive influx of new immigrants from all over the world. The continent needs more people. It is massive, empty and the least populated continent.
The continent needs improved transportation systems (roads, railways, maritime passenger terminals, bus terminals and airports, etc..) hotels, restaurants, recreational facilities and tourist attractions, health care delivery systems, housing developments, etc...
American professionals and tradesman, should consider opening office branches and representations in the continent right now.
Well said!
I attended boarding right from primary school to secondary in Africa. I now live in America. From my observation, boarding schools are not acceptable to Americans. The discipline and punishment are probably considered as torture per American standards. There are very few American schools where students wear uniform. Wearing uniform is a headache for America.
There are many boarding schools in the U.S. It's usually very wealthy families that send their children to boarding schools. While well off Americans, who have money but are not extremely wealthy tend to prefer preparatory day schools over boarding schools. For a list of the schools in the U.S., just google American Boarding Schools and American prep schools.
There is a Boarding school in my community, within 4 miles of my home (I'm in the DC metro). The school is $60,000/year and has a dormitory for students.
What is the name of the school
Name of the boarding school please
Where is it

Yes I South Africa we have laser hair removal. I've done it a few times

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How much is the fees ?
Depends
Eix. I believe parental supervision is very important when the child is still growing up, without supervision the kids will be exposed to bed behaviour and spirits such as lesbianism, whichcraft. Etc
When you see this video then you speak like that, to me it looks some jealous somewhere.
Bathong,why such thoughts??
That is what happens when you leave kids to liv by themselves and there is no parenting involved. It would be easier for a spirit to thrive amoung the kids without parental supervision. The kids are still developing and do not nessessary know right from wrong.
@@hanyani69 There is parenting in that school.
@@hanyani69 the children will have “moms” at the boarding school.I was once at a boarding school and we were strictly supervised.Besides, bad behaviour can still happen under your roof!
