    Nice job!
    You do realise this hobby can lead to all sorts of upgrades etc?
    More subs, bass shakers. 'BOSS' tactile woofers added under the seats, Dolby Atmos, black felt wall panels etc. You might have to sell your cars lol.
    Don't ask how I know :O)

    Other than cost any particular reason why you didn't do insulation on the bottom layer along the floor as well?

      +Ramsay Zaki no, just cost. Figured the carpet would do the job and it’s been great!

    Hi this is a great project....just a few questions....how did u come to hieght of 12 inch...did this give enough clearance for the back row to see the bottom of the screen? Cheers

    • @HelpMeDIY
      @HelpMeDIY  2 роки тому

      +G Man thanks!! Yes it gave enough clearance. Picked it for a couple reasons… it was high enough to do the job and It made for a decent step heigh.

    Nice video. Just not understanding why you didn't remove the carpeting before building the riser.

    • @HelpMeDIY
      @HelpMeDIY  2 роки тому +3

      +Jack Nelson thanks! Couple reasons. If anyone wants to make the room something else at some point they can just remove the riser. Wood doesn’t need to be treated if it’s not in contact with concrete floor. More sound deadening under the riser. Easier.
