Using Forscan to Test Mazda RX8 SSV and APV Valves

Just a quick demo using Forscan and a VCXnano to troubleshoot my 2005 Mazda RX8. There are many other capabilities and parameters to look at, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Awesome video mate. Here's something strange. I have 2 Rx8's. It worked on one but said access denied on other. The other has versatune software installed. Let's me access but not control.

Sorry to hear that. I’m not that familiar with the RX8 ECU’s but it sounds like a previous tuner may have locked you out. That’s certainly possible on other vehicles, although I don’t know for certain here.
