I don't think we can force other celebrities who have only grew up learning their mother tongue language to learn other languages such as English. It doesn't that if you are not fluent in English, you can't be a "true celebrity" anymore. Success isn't measured by one's capability to speak English, it's more of how their craft reaches and touches their audience 😅
Obviously, there wasn’t any teleprompter everywhere in the venue. It was an impromptu press conference. Park Min Young has always been an eloquent speaker even if there are some grammatical errors, she can convey her thoughts fluently. Not all Korean celebrities can speak their minds even in their own language and Park Min Young is one of the few exceptions. Why? Because she always speaks from her heart. As a fan, it’s one of the reasons why I admire her, she’s smart and sensible.
