I am clearly coming in a year later but is there any way to still purchase your bag book template ?

Hey Michelle! Sadly, I didn’t ever make one for purchase. It’s just rudimentary papers at this point.

has anyone used this in addition with River of voices? I'm curious if these would work well together.

I haven’t heard of River of Voices before. I’ll have to look into it.

Im so glad you made this video because I have been going back and forth on what I wanted to do for Early American History and I definitely feel good about getting the History pockets now. Thanks for the advice. Where did you buy the folders from?

I am so glad! They've been just great for us. I just got the folders from Amazon. They're called "medical file folders". I got them in that redish brown color, and blue! Love them

Could you share how you made the medical folder with this? I want the bag book! Do you have bag books for ancient civilization? We are doing BJU 6th grade Ancient Civilizations next school year and I'm considering purchasing the history pockets. Do you find that the history pockets have to be on grade level? Or does the grade level matter? Thanks!

      1) the medical folders are simply purchased folders (from Amazon. See link in description box) and a sheet of paper cut into thirds and taped to the bottom of the folder with packing tape! Sooo easy!!
      2) I haven’t done the bag hooks for ancient civilizations but I should when we study it next. We enjoyed BJU History for the younger years of our homeschooling life. I should look into it for this next year. It’s been a while.
      3) the Evan moor pockets are very versatile. You can elaborate, take away, add, or supplement as much as you want. So as far a being geared to a specific age group, my answer is that they are not. I use them as a curriculum base to establish the flow and then for each activity put my personal spin on it.
      Hope that helps!

We just finished the Ancient Civilizations History pockets and are finishing World History this year.
Next year we’re doing American History so I’m looking at the history pockets for Explorers, Native Americans and Colonial America. My daughter loves them. ❤

oh that's awesome! I did a TPT unit for Explorers and a Lapbook for Native American's to try and switch up what we do. But I'm sure they're good too. I love the history pockets and literature pockets.

@@FullPurposeAndHeart I don’t know why I never think to look on TpT for that kind of thing. I should try that. 👍🏻
