"Overlanding" In My Subaru Outback- Camping With Joey

- Join me as I take my old 1998 lifted Subaru Outback on an overland camping trip. We'll tackle backroads, do a little off roading, enjoy mountain views, and find epic camping spots along the way. Doing so with basic camping gear, a sleeping bag (no tent here), stove, and coffee. Get ready for an adventure and some chats around a warm campfire.

This video was awesome! Just goes to show what little you need to get out there and have fun! Your subaru is sweet btw, you should get some skid plates next to protect all the undercarriage vitals.
Thanks! That’s what I’m saying you don’t need overbuild a rig to have fun out there. Keep it simple and get out. I do want to add some skid plates eventually.

What’s your ground clearance on that Subie?
It has an @andersondesign-fab4405 2” front spacers, and 2 1/2” in the rear. With 215/70R16 tire size giving me 9 1/2” ground cleaner. It’s nothing compared to modern Subarus, and less than I would really like. But it’s a simple start.

Sometimes in life, things/people around you try to crush your dreams, and you get knocked down, but not out. You just have to do some self-reflection and get back up to go after your dreams. If I had not posted anything on this new channel, I would be giving up on trying after passion and dreams again. So, if you see it as flip-flopping, so be it. I see it as not giving up! Thanks for making it over from my other channel to the new one.
