When it came out I listened to it practically for a year in a row, my roommate had the vynil and put it on every day, but it didn't bother us, we were 20 years old and it was the right music to prepare to go and destroy everything on the street.
❗Due to a disagreement between Cyprus Hill and Roni Size about the speed of the song, it's sped up in the film to appease Roni but slowed down in this Video and on the Soundtrack to make Cypress happy. (I learnt this when watching the Director's Commentary on this film)
I think it's because it was classed as a Warner Bros/New Line production and was modified slightly (loosely adapted) from the original comic. He wasn't a "Daywalker" in the comics and didn't have the exact same powers as the vampires (that's why he had the gadgets to help him, plus his wits) that was done for the movies, then later adapted the comics after the movies.
To top that off. Blade is one of the most bad ass BLACK super hero who never gets credits that he deserves. Instead they take white ones and make em black against the wishes of fans!
