Hey everybody!
Its been a long ass time since my last Avenged Sevenfold cover, so I thought why not try covering Nightmare? After a long discussion with myself I came to the conclusion: why the fuck not?

we have a lot of amazing bass videos (includes yours) for groovy things like rhcp, but not for metal, excepting some of yours. after all, it's what we expected from a swedish haha

Just keep practising and you'll naturally build on finger dexterity and strength. It's like running. Start slow and you'll naturally get faster.
three finger picking changes the game. pretty hard to get it smooth and in time but once its down it will be so much more fun to play metal

That Flea bass sounds pretty good for this song! You should try something off their first album, I think it would actually sound really close to the sound of the bass on the album.

I should share this story, I play guitar myself and am about to learn bass too, my friend told me that it's actually a lot easier once you've learned guitar, it's not easy, nothing is, it's just easier, mainly because you're used to how a guitar is set out and you know how to read tabs, it's mainly about learning a beat and new techniques according to my mate

Most guitar parts are more complicated than bass, but to play the same thing on a bass cleanly is incredibly hard!
