No I don't think it was as good as season 1. I think it is because the main writer from season 1 Pheobe Waller-Bridge was not the lead writer on this season.
I thought it was quite slow on parts this time round. Compare it to season 1 you can definitely see the difference, that it was a different writer.

@@savagecat9665 I don't know where else they can with the show now. If they are afraid to let them hookup, then the show's baseline story will be a lead on since season 1, and it will become a regular assassin show. The rating will drop, because the audience will realize that the writers were full of shit for baiting for 2 seasons. Season 3 Eve will have to ask for forgiveness, in their own weird psychopathic way. Nowadays you can't bait audiences with one thing, then try and flip the script, without losing viewership. I'm on the fence about even watching season 3. I'd say if they haven't kissed or hooked up by ep.5 of next season, then season 1 and 2 was just one big bait job. No one even cares about " The Twelve" . Everyone else are supporting actors to their unorthodox relationship. Well Carolyn and Constantine are like their parents waiting for them to hookup. When I say unorthodox, I mean because they are both psychopaths.

KY L maybe E wil get more dangerous after V did to her and also V too. They probably work against each other again like in season 1 . But just in S3 E not sure about her feelings for V.
Bophakeo Long I think E’s feeling for V is undeniable, the thing is how she will process and embrace it. Her dark side has been awakened by V now we’ll have to see how she gets through this.

I think the Eve and Villanelle dance maybe over. They could bring them back as arch nemesis, but It just make it like any other show out there. They should have let them kiss...they should have let them kiss. At least they would have something to struggle back to. The writers didn't even leave a glimmer of hope, "The Kiss". How would you fix things in season 3 between the two main characters?...Without somehow writing their way into bed. How can you do that after Villanelle shooting EvE in the back? I think Villanelle is done with Eve.
Killing Eve reflects Hannibal in many ways, and Will and Hannibal did find their way back to each other in S3 after the stabbing and betrayal, stronger than ever, before getting their HE. Their conflict was way worse than that of Eve and Villanelle, so everything's possible.
Kinda reminds me of the relationship between oswald and edward in Gotham

I think the writer kinda blew her shot on bringing our two favorite ladies together. Villanelle spent pretty much all of season 1,2 giving Eve passes, where is she just kills everyone else. She has proved her love for Eve over and over again, and Eve acts indecisive, and finally at the end rejects her. So basically they've kinda of been dragging us along for a maybe they will maybe they won't for 2 seasons. I don't see how they could patch their relationship in season 3, unless Eve wanted Villanelle to shoot her to wipe the slate for stabbing her. I just can't see how they could write a reboot of their relationship, and chemistry.
She might come back and take Eve with her, take care of her until she gets well, maybe kidnap a doctor to treat Eve then they go hiding until Eve saw Nico on the news telling about V killing poor Gemma and Eve go crazy again with V for killing Gemma, oh well, this show really plays our mind..lol.. anything can happen I just want more action,funny moments and happy season ending for a change. Only psycho here is the writers, toying our emotion and mind..lol..
