ARNAM ALAM - ARUIVANG - BHOMKURU 4/ KR. JOHN TIMUNG

Fr. John Timung is a Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Diphu in Northeast India. He was born on 1.1.1958. Having completed his Theological studies he was ordained a Priest on 8th March, 1987. Starting his Priestly ministry as the Asst. Parish Priest at Japrajan Parish he went on to become the Parish Priest of the Risen Lord Parish at Diphu, Diocesan Administrator and presently the Vicar General of the Diocese of Diphu.
He engages himself in Priestly ministries, writing and publications of books and articles in the Karbi language and is active also in the social media platforms through his many video and audio presentations. Through “ARNAM ALAM ” he is bringing the Word of God to the Catholic faithful of the Karbi community. It is hoped that this endeavor of his will bring many people to love the Word of God and thereby be strengthened in their faith.
