My 600-lb Life is an American reality television series that has aired on the TLC television network since 2012. Each episode follows a year in the life of morbidly obese individuals, who usually begin the episode weighing at least 600 pounds (270 kg), and documents their attempts to reduce their weight to a healthy level. I had to laugh when Charles phones Dr Now to tell him he flew down to Houston without an appointment to surprise him, and Dr Now says "What do you mean surprise me!??" 😂

He honestly expected Dr. Now to jump for joy to meet him as if Dr. Now isn’t booked with a waiting list of people requesting him, the moment Charles dropped that call, Dre Now just moved on to the next person

William is not even that big. There have been way bigger patients on this show. I think he is just lazy and spoiled by his mother.
He sits on the couch all day wondering if he SMELLS, and playing video games yeah he's lazy.

Imagine being so arrogant that you insist you know more than the doctor, hang up on him, then fly down and expect him to keep working with you without any prior contact. Christ, Covid must have been 10 times the normal hell for healthcare workers. Charles is one of those dudes who would have made me quit for sure. 😂

Charles is so full of himself that he truly expected the doctor would be happily surprised by an unexpected visit.
Dr. Now seems like an amazing Guy. He always seems to do whatever he can to help these people.

What is Charles thinking when he tells Dr. Now he’s doing so well in Houston?? He’s not doing well at all. He is horrifically obese and has gained weight at his last weigh-in. These people are so good at deluding themselves. Sad.

Watching these reminds me to eat healthy and appropriate portions. Having limited mobility already, need stay healthy so no bedbound.

Fruit has a lot of sugar in it and that is banned on this diet.

Once I get to 1800lbs I am so going on this show.
I ve noticed most of these people don't have anyone else to take care of or be responsible for except themselves. They don't even have responsibilities for around the house pet and child care dirty laundry 🧺

We live too far out for delivery, and use our food budget on real food.

We are an ingredient family, so meals = work. I, my partner, and our kids know how to cook, so even our lazy meals are fresh and homemade. We know what's in our food, and every meal is a family affair.

So i started at 220 (i'm 4'11) and I lost 110 pounds. I've been maintaining 110 for about 2 years
I eat a 1500 calories on maintenance, 1200 on deficit
It doesn't matter where those calories come from
During my journey i drank soda, had fast food and lots of chocolate and still lost weight. I just had it in moderation although i did splurge alot !
You just have to find out what works for you

Even tho Steven was one of the craziest, Cyndi made me the most mad watching her scream at the people trying to help save her life. That was a disgusting episode

The second guy was not off drugs he was doing pain killers in large amounts thats the noddy grasping voice he always has if u been an opiate addict or even around on u understand the voice thing and you can see him fighting off the nod plus he still drinking alcohol a few different times filming in his room you can see the heny bottles

A large fast food salad with ranch dressing has more calories than a big Mac, but nice try. That's not healthy eating

I'm low 500 pounds and watching these shows makes me grateful I'm not bedridden or can't take care of myself, I'm glad I'm not dramatic like they are and if they can get out and walk a few feet whilst being heavier than 6-700 pounds i can get out and walk

It is very difficult to feel sorry for him or his mom. If she does not deal out some tough love and quit feeding there will no be anything to feed after his major cardiac arrest. Where do they get the money for all this food?

Cheese is on the diet, but obviously not in unlimited amounts.
It's a high protein, low carb diet.
