- On our way to Live Oak to check out one of WM’s manual contracts, we passed an MR McNeilus with a much older logo on the interstate. After quickly U-turning, we assumed it was heading to Universal City, however when we got to the incredibly tiny Thursday route, we ran into this truck instead. No complaints though, this is a very sharp unit and I personally prefer these over the Freightliners the yard has currently.
The truck dilemma was only half the experience. The old alleys of Universal City we hiked down almost took me back in time. There were store-bought containers, anything imaginable in big black bags, and even some classic metal garbage cans! Not to mention live cockroaches leaking out the back of the truck lol. Although the houses had normal driveways which would work much better for pickup, the alleys were still in use (same situation in other cities as well). Regardless of how massive a vehicle must trek through the “jungle” once a week, the driver handled it like a pro!

Every Wednesday I had the whole route all in alleys with a rear loader too make a 12 ton load In 31/2 hours but had a helper that can drive on the route don’t wait on me to move the truck he’s closer go soon he had his own route when I teach a new driver for a route also he better lesson and lesson good if they do they get sent out after training a good driver soon to be a great driver.
My new neighborhood has these collecting our recycling

NIce! I always love seeing those rubbermaids on the tipper, a very rare sight. One of the faster WM Manual crews i've seen! Reminds me of a little town near my place! Have you had trouble with the sd card for your camera? Mine won't load videos recent on my pc but it will show recent photos. It shows both on my camera though.
Thanks! It is pretty neat to see Rubbermaids tipped every once in a while. I don’t use my camcorder that much anymore but I think there’s a folder called AVCHD or something like that on your computer. Should have all the higher quality videos there
