I am back with another video about visa application for Canada Tourist Visa. In this video I shared my experience about how this visa , in my opinion, is the most difficult and most time consuming visa I applied for in my entire visa application journeys before.
I discussed the requirements, process, fees, timeline, and some other helpful tips in the Visa Application Center.
I really wanted to create this video because as an applicant myself, I have had questions that were unanswered along this journey and I wanted to give clarity about it.

Hello po. First of all, thank you so much for this video. This is really helpful! Naexp niyo po ba na delayed yung OTP sending ni VFS - this caused invalid otp na kasi nagreach na yung time limit. Thank you!

Miss Dianne ,, i am super thankful for this video because it made me realize how far i've gone through with my visa application. you clearly mentioned the step by step processes which i already underwent some of it before watching this video. hindi pa po ako tapos sa pag upload ng documents because i am still waiting for my aunt to send me her documents to support my application. Hello, while I already have my CA visa, hindi pa ko naka-travel but will definitely share it with you once I get there.
Hello Ms. Dianne, I filled up the 5257 form sa computer shop. Validated it,and succesfully got the barcode and saved.
My issue is, once I opened it at home nawala yung barcode page, pero nakalagay is Validated (YES) naman. I dunno kung baka dahil hindi updated yung softwares ko.
Buti I have printed copy w/ the barcode. So I scanned and signed nalang. Pede kaya ung scanned file nlng i-Upload ko??
Hello, in my opinion, if you have the printed copy and you will scan it and upload, it wont be a problem. Otherwise hindi naman tatanggapin ng site yung doc if hindi pwede. Try mo muna upload and see what it says.
@@passportdiaries_ hindi nga siya tinanggap Ms. Dianne, "Don't upload a scanned version. No need to physically sign." Kulit ko. Fill-up nalang ulit ako to get a new barcode. 🙂

By any chance, do you have friends or relatives you're gonna visit there? I have relatives there and I'm planning to visit. But do you think that's gonna be a red flag sa IO? I don't think red flag siya sa IO, you just need a letter of invitation from them.

Hi! Nung nag apply ako, when they requested my passport, wala naman na akong binayaran :) kasi pick up yung pinili ko. Pero I think meron bayad if through LBC yung pipiliin mo or if you will opt to avail their SMS services for status.

Biometrics muna then wait ka pa for them to notify you if ico-collect nila passport mo. If they message you for passport collection, automatic approved yan :)

Depende siguro sa processing times, when I applied for a Canadian visa 2 weeks after biometrics for passport collection na.
That’s good to hear! 😊 Others kasi kasabayan ko mejo kinakabahan na sila so we were all discussing kung sino na mga nakakuha or hindi pa. I know someone inabot ng 2mos before marequest-an ng passport.
Swerte talaga ng taga Cebu at taga Metro Manila kasi doon lang sa lugar nila ang VFS at Canadian Embassy samantalang sa mga taga Mindanao more hassle at gastos at more time to process still waiting my biometric to finish and next is passport submission

Yung letter of invitation nya pp ba dapat tatak sa kanila sa canadapara maging valid po. Kasi 82yrs old na siya parang ihahatid ko din siya at babalik din po

Hi Dianne, Ask ko lang, may letter ba for the passport collection? passport submitted last Feb 14 pa but till now, wala pang letter for passport collection.
Hi! Mag-i-email sila sayo if it's for collection na pero medyo matagal. So what I did is I went to VFS customer support and I started a chat with an agent there to check the status of my application and that's when I knew na its for collection na. Just make sure you screenshot your conversation with the agent kasi minsan hinahanap ng guard yung confirmation. Hope this helps! :)
You spoke a lot in (Tagalog?) at the end of the video without sumarizing the total time it took (in English).. How much time in total did it take since the moment you applied to the moment you had your passport with valid visa? Was that the approx 1 month? Or more with the steps you list after?
My girlfriend and I started her application 2 days ago, she lives in Bohol and we're traveling around Palawan until 45 days from now. Is it easier for her to do some steps in Cebu (or Manilla)? At Canadian embassies? I Don't want her to have to ship her passport all the way to Canada, that'll take too long as we want her to fly out in 55-60 days from now..

Hi, wala namang dress code sa VFS I saw people wearing sandals and sleeveles tops. Ako I just wore collared shirt and sneakers para sure though.

Don't need the middle name
Include middle name sa first name to match ur passport

Hi! when I applied (Mid 2023) the guideline is within 30 days from their request, dapat ma-provide mo yung passport.

I usually do 4-6 months before my intended travel kasi yun yung mas mura. Also with this application, nag purchase ako nung refundable and cancellable para safe.

Hindi na, from the date of notice to submit, meron ka lang 30 days to submit the passport. No need for appointment na.

Hindi na naman, uploading of requirements lang yun :) then mag appointment ka for biometrics. Better siguro if you treat it as kasama na and do it na agad :) good luck! 🙏🏽

No need for appointment na, just bring the passport request letter any day within those 30 days

I’m not sure with everybody else, but as my personal practice, I usually apply for Schengen, US, Canada visas as early as 6 months before intended departure. I think its also stated in their website how far long you can apply.

Hi, I guess needed talaga kasi may category na "proof of travel" and naka-indicate as one of the examples under that category. Siguro refundable nalang kunin mo like what I did. Hope this helps! :)
BDO Atm Master Card, Landbank Visa Debit card didn't work for irrc payment of visa app. fee. Not sure why.
I'm not sure with this but if it helps, I paid mine using a credit card.
@@passportdiaries_ I think the if its visa or mastercard debit cards which were issued bY Philippine Banks, IRRC won't process it. The debit cards should be issued bY Canadian Banks. Credit cards issued within and outside Canada are accepted bY the sYstem. Just wanted to ask if u have the link for the vfs booking appointment website. The biometrics collection letter did not include the vfs website link for Filipino applicants. Thanks again.

Yes they will, pero ako kasi trinack ko lang online and meron silang chat support that you can ask regarding the status of your passport. Minsan kasi ready na passport pero wala pang email, so mas maganda mag ask sa chat support din. Thats what I did :)

Hello, hindi ko rin sure kasi matagal talaga after biometrics. As mentioned, mine took almost 1 month before sila nag request ng passport

I think you just need to declare yung address ng pag-stay-an mo.

Yes, pag may valid US visa, pwede na yung 7CAD na travel authorization for Canada :)
