    theres nothing wrong with playing in transitions thats probably the most important part of the game you want to have a fast pace so u can get there before the defense is set

    This shit is corny as hell. You watch a couple highlights and think you've "solved" Haliburton. "He has no mid-range" 😑 there is literally a 10 minute reel on youtube of him scoring in the mid-range from just last season alone. He has an inside game, he has a mid-range game, the problem isn't ability, it's his mentality. Whatever it is, whether it's overall passiveness or fear of getting hurt, or something else he's just not mentally there and willing to utilize every aspect of his skills. I'm sick of these self-annointed UA-cam "analysts" who've watched maybe 5 full Pacers games in their lives who think that Haliburton is just gonna be some bum who's gonna shoot under 40% from the field for the rest of his career when his whole career to this point he's shot 40% *from 3*.

      Lmao man you gotta quit while you at it. Haliburton a 4th option on a championship team fam… You dont gotta be an nba professional to know it. 6’5, no defense, crab dribble spams, cant create in the corner(as well as doesnt wanna go to the corner), no mid range… cmon dawg wake up

    • @opshan4269
      @opshan4269 6 днів тому

      @Zeke47 so you're taking 3 guys who've never been as efficient from the field or from 3 as Ty in any points of their career, and have always turned the ball over twice as much as him while averaging less assists (or the same amount of assists in Trae's case) 👍 okay buddy you take those guys. Like I said Ty's problem isn't ability it's mentality, the only difference between him and Trae/Melo is he's not as aggressive as them, and that's a thing he needs to work out with himself or maybe a sports psychologist. And yeah thats deserving of criticism because there's no excuse for the piss poor play he's had in his last 4 months of playing time, but acting like it's cause he has "no mid-range" and "can't get to the basket" is retarded, cause he was doing all of that the first half of last year

    Not trying to give Ty excuses but he dealing with some back issues he looks awful definitely can play better than what he has playing even tho I think he’s exposed myself looks like he ain’t worked on his game at all….. and I think they gotta guy that can get buckets in the half court it’s Ben mathurin but the problem is Ricks in love with Tyrese …. Ben needs to be the #1 option with pascal and Ty need to take the backseat

    This is super corny. Tyrese isn't a bag work type of scorer and he doesn't have to be, his contributions come from his elite court vision, elite shooting ability and elite ability to really push the pace. I don't understand the hate for transition creation and painting all those plays like something anybody could do, guys like Bron Westbrook, Giannis have all made careers off of eating in transition and leading high powered fast breaks both from a scoring and playmaking standpoint. Most nba teams would dream of a walking one man fastbreak that can take care of the ball and make the right read and get a layup, lob or good 3 off damn near every time. Matter of fact with a lot of people's goat pg magic, the VAST majority of his highlights and best passes come from transition, magic had basically zero bag on the perimeter and was relegated to post ups and occasionally pnr in the halfcourt. He didn't dominate with a bag he dominated with superior playmaking and iq and taking advantage of every transition opportunity. The offense wouldn't work without hali, no one on that team can push the pace and make the right decisions as consistently as him and create as many easy looks. Sure you could argue they could use a better scorer when games slow down, and I'd agree, but tyrese has shown flashes of that ability, and he's still young and he works really well for what Indiana wants to do.
