- I spoke to a person some time ago and asked him: if you had a severe disease and you were about to die, but you could only be treated in the US by certain specialists to be healed, would you then be ready to go to the US to be healed? He said to me: Yes - of course I would go to the US if this is really the only option, although it is very expensive and it will take a lot of time. But if this is the only way to save my life, I would do it. So a person is ready to do everything to save his life.
And this weekend, at a birthday party I was reminded of this conversation. Because someone else started talking to me about churches. And he said to me: when it comes to churches there is one important requirement for me: it has to be in my own city. And the other persons agreed, yes, of course a church should be in your own city because that is most convenient. They all agreed with him. I was standing there and realised that a person for something temporary, the life here on earth, is ready to do everything. Just to save his life here on earth. But this life will end anyhow. It can be 40, 60 , 80 or 100 years but it will end anyhow. But for eternal life, the attitude is completely different and very shallow. The devil has blinded the eyes so that they cannot discern what is really important.
Therefore Christ said:
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matt 11:12
What is this violence? I will give an example based on my own experience: one day my 1 year old son fell into the swimming pool. I saw it happening and I was standing on the other side of the pool. He would have drowned right away if nobody helped. So I did not hesitate a single second and I jumped into the water as far as I could. I did not consider my clothes and my phone. I saved him. My phone was obviously broken, it could not resist the water. This is a good example of violence. If you realise that life and death are at stake, then you are ready to apply violence.
Christ says furthermore:
“Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matt 7:14,15.
Many times people argue: well in every church there are people that will be saved, in some churches that are closer to the truth more will be saved and other churches less will be saved. But is it not like that at all! There is only one way, one truth and one life. There is only one explanation that will lead to eternal life. As Peter says:
“knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy man of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Petr 1:20, 21
There is only one interpretation of the Bible that leads to eternal life. Just one, nothing more. This interpretation is from the Holy Spirit. And if the interpretation you heard and believed is not consistent with this explanation, than there is no eternal life. It is written in 2 John 9 “Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son”.
This idea that there is only one gate and one way, one spirit and one interpretation that will lead to eternal life, is in itself already a big thing. If you truly understand this, than you are taking a giant leap in faith and already halfway. I remember my own path that at some point I realised that I needed to find the truth and to be born again and so my search began. This search for truth in itself was changing my life and I enjoyed it. This is already speaking about violence, I was ready to give up everything. What else is there to say about applying violence?

Yes, the person will do everything to save his life. But mostly people are convinced, that their life here, in this body on this earth only. It’s a the most hazardous deception of this world. Devil has worked here a lot to convince people..
